The Nomad is located in a wonderful part of Manhattan, with quick access to the coolest parts of midtown and downtown. The rooms are normal for NYC, which means a little small, but well appointed and luxurious. The staff is attentive, and professional if a little snooty, but fear not - the hotel is adorable with a great bar and...

Delightful library bar, amazing cocktail list, good service, perfect atmosphere. I've not stayed at this hotel yet but I'd love too soon. Gorgeous bar and restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Uniquely decorated rooms...feel like you are in a home not a hotel. Antiques, unique art, mini bar made from an antique trunk. Great, cozy library for cocktails or coffee. Beautiful dining areas. Dim lighting and a little dark but I didn't mind. Service was so friendly.

Stunning setting . Only popped in for a few cocktails as recommend by a friend . Did not disappoint. Huge selection of classics and more . Friendly staff . The hot buttered rum went down a treat on a blustery day

Sleepless night @ The Nomad for all the wrong reasons. While construction is underway on Broadway, be sure to request a room at the rear of the hotel - or pack your sleep meds and hope for the best. $600 + per night #nobeautysleep #jackhammer

The word that would best describe the Nomad Hotel is 'curated'. From the new candles the manager was placing in the lobby area to the selection of snacks and items they stock in their very cool mini-bar/trunk, the Nomad understands what it means to portray style and design without looking like they're trying too hard. If you work for a...

The NoMad Hotel is a spectacularly appointed, gorgeous hotel property. The public areas are dark and moody and jammed with people. There is an element of trendiness to the place, but nowhere near the insufferable levels of the nearby Ace Hotel. The room - a "classic," which is the lowest tier room, was a cozy affair with a generously proportioned...

Been to the NoMad on several occasions, it is a very comfortable hotel with larger than average rooms (compared to the Mid town standard), the library is a lovely place to meet people and the bar is vibrant. As other reviewers have noticed the lobby and common areas are very dark, and this puts people off, the rooms are light....

I really loved this hotel. Charming and staff was very friendly. My only problem is that it is dark. Had a hard time seeing numbers on elevator. Dark everywhere prefer more light. Not the best location for where we were going but wasn't terrible.

We spent two days at the nomad and it was fabulous! We had an amazing room with french windows! The roomservice food was delicious, best egg benedicts i have ever tasted! We loved that the hotel is so central located - 1' walk to the flat iron building - 3' walk to the empire state buldiung.

The NoMad Hotel is housed in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building that has been fully restored to its original grandeur with interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia. The hotel is intended as a fresh take on the classic grand hotels of Europe with a distinct New York sensibility. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Parisian flat of Garcia’s youth. The 168 rooms are residential in feel and decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork. The soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces provide a fine gathering place to enjoy dining, drinking and socializing. ... more   less
