This is my 5th stay at this property, and it was wonderful as always. The location is perfect, close to the village, downtown, and the Lower East Side. It's near major subway stops, and is walking distance to just about everywhere you'd want to go from midtown and below. The staff here are just wonderful, and as accomodating as can... More

I appreciated this hotel and staff. The cleanliness was a 10 all around. I was in town to visit with my son who resides in a Brooklyn as a college student. Couldn't have felt better about my hotel selection.

Often when in NYC I have stayed mid-town and wanted a change - glad I did - this is a really good hotel in a great location. Being so close to Union Square means you 2 mins from the subway and easy access to the rest of the city. It is a lively area - plenty of shops and restaurants.... More

This Hyatt was fabulous! Great location, close to everything and easy to get around as close to subways. Very nice and attentive staf. It was quite spacious by NYC standards. I will definitely return.

Ultra modern, clean quiet room with windows that open!! But the best part was the service...within minutes the front desk staff, including the concierge and door men, knew us by name!! Every request (shower cap, corkscrew, fridge for the room) was taken care of with not a trace of attitude and in a very timely fashion. We have stayed at... More

We stay in NY a lot, mostly priceline a 4 -5 star hotel for a night or two, usually disappointed...but because we were staying in NY for a week I wanted to hand pick a hotel. Last month I was briefly in the city and spent a few really fun hours looking at many rooms in hotels, around union square... More

I'm a Hyatt loyalist, so I stay at Hyatt hotels a good deal. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I enjoyed it, but it came in a bit below my expectations. Location: It's located in a fantastic part of NYC - The Village. I've stayed in Times Square (super tourist area), Grand Central, and Mid-Town, and this... More

Great location. The front desk staff was very nice. But, they really nickel and dimed in the restaurant. I got charged for a refill on my coffee at breakfast. That's never happened to me. I guess a first for everything. I just think a hotel charging these rates should be less concerned about every incremental penny. Decent stay but that... More
