The hotel is located one block from time square and close to all the theaters. The staff went out of their way to ensure I was satisfied, Elizabeth is a rock star. Very clean and great staff! The bartender on the rooftop was great, the manager there was very friendly as well. It was a very busy Saturday night, but they all kept their cool and my cocktail was delicious. When I checked in, I wasn’t too happy with my “city view” room. Elizabeth came upstairs and let me check out two more rooms in the same price category and allowed me to choose the room I liked the best. I felt like a VIP! The hotel was very clean. I would stay here again, I don’t have a single complaint.
Perfect location to catch a Broadway show. Clean modern everything you would expect.a nice touch was a card and balloons in the room for my birthday. Must mention on our departure day most of the roads nearby were closed due to a celebration carnival style possession with floats ect ( great to watch)- very thankful to the concierge whom really helped us out after our taxi didn't arrive. If it not for him definitely would have missed our flight (wish I could remember his name) he went over and above ! We literally only slept here, very comfortable No breakfast option only room service. Nice convenice store next door for snacks on the move.
So close to Times Square & most important all the fantastic restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen and BROADWAY!! The area outside of hotel was very clean and many HYATT staff were there to assist w/directions, taxi’s etc. very pleasant experience.
you may want to consider if this hotel is good for you before you book (1) location - Very Good (2) breakfast is served only as room service, there rooms are small and not fun to eat there .. so better go out to eat outside (3) expensive hotel - no concierge available (4) rooftop - entering only above 21 - if you book because of the roof top and you want to eat there with children - forget about it
This hotel is very nice and convenient. The rooms are spacious and quiet with nice amenities (coffee, water, toiletries and umbrellas ). The staff is lovely and bar 54 is fun with a great view. My only complaint is the horribly strong perfume smell in the lobby and elevators which is offensive to my nose each time I walk through the lobby. Fortunately the smell does not go to the rooms!
Great hotel. Surprisingly large and clean. Has luxurious heated bathroom floors! Felt safe and secure with doormen verifying guests entering elevator bank. Friendly doormen! Problems at check-in when the credit card NFC reader didn't work - made me second guess my credit card and forced me to call to verify if there was something wrong with my account. Also a problem when I booked an additional room the next day. The front desk seemed reluctant to sell me a room. But housekeeping was very friendly! Replenished water bottles each day no charge! (Don't forget to tip housekeeping each time you have your room cleaned!) Floors felt safe to walk on since there was no carpet - no weird or sticky carpet stains. Includes a refrigerator but it's tiny. Very close to the action in Times Square. Walkable to the the 3 shows we saw that week. Walgreens, a bodega, a restaurant and the Lyceum Theater showing "A Strange Loop" are literally next door. This hotel experience makes me want to build up my Discoverist membership and switch brands from my Hilton Diamond.…
We stayed at the Hyatt centric from the 8th September for 4 nights. Reception fast and very pleasant on arrival. Baggage brought up to room Room very spacious and clean with a good view of time square . Great bathroom with a good shower. 2 large beds and the air con worked a treat, as it was hot outside. Great position for Time Square, Central Park , 5th Avenue and all the Broadway shows. Starbucks opposite although there were coffee making facilities in the room. Booked a table at bar 54, book in advance about 2 weeks prior. Was worth it for the views, the cocktails and the food Been to New York a few times and this was a very good choice of hotel . Def recommend it. I would return for sure.
Enjoyed my 3 night stay at Hyat Centric. I needed a central place where I could work comfortably during the morning, and easily go exploring in the evening. Room was clean and the service staff that I interacted with was very friendly and helpfull. I had a kingsize bed with balcony. The furniture on the balcony was a bit simple, but the view was great and the room had a big desk to work on. The desk had all kinds of relevant ports (usb, usb-c, hdmi). Big pluss for the wireless charging station! The chair was a bit uncomfortable to sit and work in for longer periods. The wifi was stable enough to use for work. The safe was big enough for a 16’’ laptop. The hotel is located right next to Time Square so do expect a lot of traffic and people in the nearby streets. There is a rooftop bar, but did not get to go there for a drink since it was reserved for events during my stay. However, they offered a viewing for guests 10:30 AM which I managed to get before I checked out. The view was great, and I imagine it is spectacular at night. Did not try the gym, but it looked quite decent. The hotel is on the pricier side and european guests should be aware of the «Destination fee» + tax, which is around 35$ per night. This cost is not included in the price you see when you book.…
Great location, very courteous and friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile. Our room was right next to the elevator which was assigned if when not requested. Perfect location.Loved the overall stay.
I arrived about 11am and front desk was friendly. Our room was ready and we were about to check in early. Valet was also friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and on the smaller side (but it is NY)enough for what we needed. Really no complaints.
