Just an awesome stay for my husband's birthday! Everyone was super-friendly, especially front desk clerk Yenny and housekeeper Jenny G. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and had asked for a higher floor, which we were able to get. The room is wonderful and the bathroom is fantastic - such awesome water pressure. Very spacious and light room. Also, we were able to check in early, which was wonderful as we were soaked from the flooding in NYC last Friday. The location of this hotel is wonderful and I honestly will be wanting to stay here for every future NYC trip!!

Second time staying here and as always, super helpful and attentive staff. Water kettle and slippers upon request were brought up swiftly. Location is central and close to subways. The only complaint is the noise from Times Sq but that's to be somewhat expected...

This place is number 1 in Manhattan. Near everything you want to see and more. My first time in New York and this staff is like family. From the guys @ the door to the people working check in. Sean, Byron, Yousef, Tommy, Mike, and so many more. Even the security is very friendly and on top of safety. Favorite of all was James as he was training and worked diligently to learn and be helpful. I'll definitely be back and it's worth every penny.

The Hyatt Centic Times Square saved the day when The Millennium Hotel (across from the Hyatt) canceled my reservation 3 days prior to our booked date for a reservation I had made10 months ago because the credit card I had booked with had gotten compromised and so the credit card number changed. The Millennium Hotel notified me via email while I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic, the email had the name of the employee in the by-line not the hotel name, no phone call or email asking for a different credit card. This could have been a nightmare of New York vacation with no place to stay and pouring down rain but the excellent staff at the Hyatt Centic went above and beyond for senior citizens that weren't even Hyatt members (at that time). The hotel is located in a walking distance to all key attractions in NY mainly Times Square and the rooms are modern and overall service is great . This is my 2nd stay in 3xmonths and will come again for sure

This was a perfect hotel for a weekend in NYC. Everything we wanted (great restaurants, theatres, Times Square) were in walking distance. Hotel was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful

Our second stay in this hotel having previously stayed with our children back in 2016. We chose to come back based on location, price range and the good experience we had previously and we were not disappointed. Room was really nice, check in really smooth and staff very attentive throughout. If you are looking for mid-range in NYC definitely consider this hotel.

My family of 4 with 2 children (9 & 10) came for a long weekend to visit family, see a show, visit the Statue of Liberty and the American Museum of Natural History. The hotel was a great location to walk to the show, Times Square and tons of good shops & restaurants. The room was HUGE for NYC and was more than comfortable for all 4 of us. The bathroom was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was super helpful and friendly and, despite being so close to Times Square, it was quiet at night and we were able to get good nights rest the whole time we stayed. Highly recommend and will definitely come stay again.

This was my 4th time Visiting New York and have to say that the Hyatt Centric Times Square is the best place I have stayed in the city. The location is fantastic with Times Square right at the bottom of the street. You can also walk to a number of different New York favourites from here. The hotel was very modern, clean and comfortable. All the staff are very professional, friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome during our stay. Especially Richie who checked us in. He even reallocated our rooms as he said the rooms that we had been assigned did not have a view. As it was my Nephew’s first time he gave us a room with a view. This was a really nice touch and when we seen the rooms and the views we really appreciate this. Every time we went to reception he was always there to help and if he wasn’t there the staff who were on shift were just as nice as him. Will definitely stay here again. …

The location was perfect for us, just around the corner from Times Square, loved the buzz around that area especially in the evenings! The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping were super friendly and efficient, always greeted us in the mornings. The only few things that stop me from giving 5 stars was that I had asked in advance for a possible upgrade as we were celebrating our honeymoon and we didn't get an upgrade nor was it even acknowledged that it was a special occasion for us. Reception staff were pleasant but not particularly friendly, we weren't even asked on departure if we enjoyed our stay etc. but she was kind to store our bags for us, also the 'resort fee' is a complete money scam, over 300 euro for the 8 days on top of we we already paid. I would advise to skip breakfast here, its only a $20 credit, the coffee for over $5 is horrible and the options for food are very limited and expensive, also staff working at breakfast were unfriendly. There was a great coffee shop across the road that I went to most mornings instead and a place for food a few doors up from the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would certainly stay here again, I just feel a few small things could be improved to give it 5 stars. …
