The Hotel 57 is in a good location between both Central Park and the attractions of midtown (Empire State, Times Square, etc), so it's a great mid-scale jumping off point for those wanting to explore the city on foot. The Met is about a 25...More

We're happy you enjoyed our friendly service and clean rooms. However, we're disappointed your time with us was less than ideal and that you had such challenges with our room sizes. We do offer...More
I seldom comment on a hotel within the first few hours of arrival. This hotel is in desperate need of attention. The furniture is painted over (i assume to cover up age) and that paint is bubbling. The room looks like a prison cell (not...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Yes, they have valet parking. Have the cell number for the hotel on your cell though. There is not a designated area on 57th Street for you to pull in. When we got there there was no one outside. I had to call as I would not not leave my car without a driver in that area. The hotel is a block from Trump Tower and there are many many members of law enforcement out there writing tickets. Enjoy the city!
