Arrived in NYC early in the morning and headed straight to the hotel. Dropped off our bag which was stored for free until we returned later in the day for check-in. Staff was attentive and courteous, very helpful. Returned later in the day to check in and were given our bag and keys quickly. Made our way up to our...

Arrived at the Hotel at 2:30 PM for early check in (regular check inn is at 3:00 PM) and Room was not ready until about 4:30 PM. After that dissapointing mishap things were good. Nice room, nothing fancy but clean. Location of hotel was great. Close to everything (Grand Central, Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center).

this is pretty much 'what it says on the tin'. basic facilities, for a reasonable price in a good central location. no frills, but clean, and a buffet breakfast to start the day. we had a double double, which was pretty close for comfort for three people, but to be expected this centrally. (stayed October 2009)

The hotel was updated and clean but cramped. I suppose that is a bit normal for that area of Manhattan, though. The proximity to attractions is really nice as well. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I didn't get offered an upgrade for being a platinum Priority club memebr member, however. Overall, I'd stay again on rewards points. It...

The front desk didn't mention anything about the parking being blocks away and advise we leave our stuff before we park. We had to hull all of our luggage from the parking deck to the hotel. It was not fun. Then when we checked into the room there was not a mini fridge. The fridge they brought looked like to belonged...

We were a little dubious about staying here from all the reviews! On arrival for 8 nights we were told that the only room they had booked for us (we booked back in Jun 11) was a double bed.....um there are 2 adults & 2 children. It wasn't looking good but in the end he rearranged & we got 2...

This hotel has very small rooms -- but that is normal for NYC. Our room was very adequate and included a 32" LCD TV and a coffee maker. The room was clean and quiet and we both got a good night's sleep. They have a free breakfast which is very good -- the usual Holiday Inn Express fare. The location...

I stayed here for 5 nights in February 2011. The location was awesome mainly due to the price and location. Pros: 1. I got a Friend and Family discount (but the original price was already very appropriate for the location and I would've stayed here either way) 2. Location - Very centrally located in terms of subway stations, right in...

Our room was small, and the sink area has no place to put toiletries, but it was clean and the beds were comfortably firm. Service was outstanding. Each request (towels, kleenex, etc.) was responded to with lightening speed. The breakfast was decent and the location couldn't be beat.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
