We stayed at the AKA Times Square for ten nights at the end of May 2013 and were delighted with the room, location and staff. Located just minutes from Times Square the room was a one-bedroom suite with a roomy office. The room was very spacious with it's own washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. It was spotlessly clean and looked...

A wonderful apart hotel in a prime location, at the heart of all the action, just a few steps away from Times Square and major subway lines stations, hence with easy access to other parts of the city. We had a one bedroom apartment that was VERY specious, even not in NYC standards (important when it comes to storing all...

If you have a family or are traveling with another couple, AKA suites are perfect. Rent one suit instead of two hotel rooms, and live/feel the NYC style. Top shelf modern accommodations in the heart of the city. Limited but friendly accommodating service.

We stayed in a two bedroom penthouse, I was travelling with my husband and my 87 year old father. The staircase was a bit of a challenge for my father as the stairs seem very narrow and steep. The hotel was in the greatest of locations, right in the heart of Times Square and the staff were extremely helpful. We...

We stayed in 2-bedroom suite 809 for 3 nights. Location is fantastic, just off Times Square. The apartment was spacious and reasonably quiet. The trade-off is the windows looked on to...brick walls, which meant virtually no natural light. The lighting in the apartment is good, but if you were staying more than a few days you'd want some natural light!...

AKA Times Square is an excellent option to stay close to the attractions. You can do everything on foot. Theater, shopping restaurants. Felt very safe and could chose to go out to have dinner or buy stuff and cook in the apartment.

Location is excellent, apartments are spacious & very clean and the staff on the desk are always there to help with any queries in a polite, cheerful manner at all times. A little on the expensive side but very comfortable and complete apartment. Great laundry facilities, kitchen is good, clean, modern and a great place to crash after a busy day in New York. Friendly staff and brilliant wifi. Would stay there again.

I stayed here 3 years ago and liked it then but it has only gotten better. Perfect locale if you want to be near TS and theaters. Clear rooms, comfy beds, great shower in the room I was in (701). TV in both bedrooms as well as living area. No view in the room I was in but the room...

We stayed at the AKA Times Square from the 23rd dec 2012 until the 2nd jan 2013. The location of the hotel is fantastic to say the least, Right off the centre of TS. The rooms are well kitted out and spacious. Whilst we stayed there, there was construction going on at the front of the apartments so we couldnt...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
