So the room was a hostel (own room but all you have is a bed and the room only about a foot wider than the bed). It was fine. However my family was somewhat uncomfortable staying there. I didn't stay any of night there. I tried to get a refund--they said no which is understandable because I used my room... More

Sunbright is like a misunderstood genius, location is great! in the middle of china town where you can find good things with low price, you can hace breakfast, luncho and dinner for less than 30 dollars!, also the hotel is close just with minutes of distance by metro of many attractions, wich is good, rooms are tiny, and the bathrooms... Location- good location but no elevator.. have to take the stairs.. Price- worth it... Rooms- below average. Bed is noisy.. room is not sound proof.. Outside is full of garbage. I stayed there over a long weekend and the rooms are very cheap. Located only a 5 minutes walk from the subway in china town the location is very convenient. The rooms and especially the shared bathroom are unexpectedly very clean. Would recommend it for short trips but not for longer stays since the rooms are small.

Just stayed at the SunBright "hotel" In May.. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there.. A complete filth hole. The place is worse than a doss house. Mice are running free and the toilet facilities are non existent. Blocked and overflowing toilets, dirty towels littering the floor. The stairways are a nightmare, very steep and slippery. No facilities whatsoever.... More

It is conveniently located near the station Metro. Canal St. and the good news here is finished. The bad news: no elevator, no privacy room, the walls are made of cardboard or thin wood, a disaster, you hear everything, and the rooms have no ceiling. In fact it is a large room divided into small parcels where it fits small... More

For a hotel in Manhattan this one was a really good price. After reading the reviews, I was pretty scared to stay here. But it wasn't too bad. I didn't see any bugs. The room didn't look dirty. The television didn't work, and you need to share a bathroom with the rest of the floor. Room is also extremely tiny,... More

Best hotel in NYC, no doubt. Gets a bad rep, but provides a sweet bed, just like they said they would. No syringes, cockroaches, or crumbly ceilings. Plus, you're in NYC. Staff are super nice and friendly too.

I traveled to NYC during November 2015 and booked at the Sun Bright Hotel. Although I must say I was actually nervous and scared due to the photos posted by other travelers. The Hotel is quite easy to find. It is located on a 2nd and 3rd floor, so take that in account if you have bags. There is no... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
