Treat yourself to a Kimberly suite with a balcony...you deserve the best! Beautifully decorated two bedroom suites with kitchen, dining table and a captivating view of Manhattan...30 Rock and the Chrysler building. Upstairs at the Kimberly is a well kept NYC secret for drinks and midtown views atop the 30th floor. Bistango Italian restaurant next door serves up fine fare....

This is not my first stay at The Kimberly Hotel. Perfect location, elegant suite, very good door men. What was not well done: breakfast is served on the pent house floor. 35 flights up, one elevator down all week, one out of service due to too many people at one time. I was warned by a worker not to get...

1 barely functioning elevator for 30 floors. Have to line up to get in the elevator. Hotel staff response was to ask you to stop complaining. Curt at the front desk was extremely unhelpful and impolite.

Great location close to Grand Central. Had a suite with kitchenette, living area, lots of storage space. The ladies wished for more mirrors to get ready. Excellent staff! My new go to place to stay in NYC!

First the location is outstanding. More walking and less cabs. You can get to Rock Center and St Pats in a few short blocks. Second you can't get space like this many places. This hotel does not have the finishes that you will see at the Ritz, however, our room had a huge bedroom, large living room, balcony and a...

The Kimberly is a revelation. The location is ideal--in the heart of midtown, just down the block from the Waldorf. The rooms are eye-poppingly great. I had a very spacious suite. on a high floor with a large bedroom, spacious living room and excellent kitchenette and desk area. The staff were terrific. When I checked in they only had a...

Great hotel with the most wonderful staff. Location, rooms and everything else is perfect. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend, They went out of their way to be helpful and very unlike NY everyone was smiling, welcoming and friendly! Price for a suite in the heart of NY is very reasonable.

Every time we stay at the Kimberly I feel it necessary to write a review. This hotel is truly Manhattan's hidden treasure. The experience first starts with Linda in reservations. Always helpful and available to discuss the visits details. Then upon arrival the doorman are always there to lend a hand and offer a smile. When we walk in to...

This was my first stay at the Kimberly and I was attracted by the availability of a one bedroom suite which made working from my room much more comfortable. The suite was spacious and the kitchenette was a definite bonus. All staff were helpful and friendly. The Upstairs was a great place to have breakfast, and the access to the...

Hadn't stayed at the Kimberly before and had no idea what to expect, but I was impressed by the size and quality of the room, furnishings and bathroom. Comfortable, clean and luxurious, but not modern. Great rooftop bar/breakfast with glass ceiling. I enjoyed it and will be back.

Dear Guest, We are so happy that you chose to try us out and ended up liking us. We are definitely a very traditionally styled hotel, with the exception of our wonderful rooftop bar which offers a very modern décor. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Sincerely, Mujo Perezic

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
