My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and it was lovely. The staff was gracious; the room was spacious; (that rhymes!); and the location, well great. After an evening out we returned to the hotel and went to the rooftop bar for a nightcap only to find it pulsing with young people and life. We (55-plus) were welcomed...

The location is perfect . Check in went well, we were early and checked our luggage, headed to Upstairs bar. Great drinks, incredible views. Would recommend. Our room was clean and had a wonderful bed. Shower was nice although the water was only lukewarm on Sunday morning. The view we had was of construction but seriously we just closed the...

The hotel is extremely well located just a couple of blocks away from Rockefeller Centre. The room we got was quite big and comfortable so it was nice since we were in a family vacation. The staff was pretty helpful and the concierge service was really good about restaurant recommendations and tours. One night we went to the bar upstairs,...

This is a good hotel for anyone who likes a large room at a reasonable price. The views are good, most rooms have a balcony, and the beds are very comfortable. Furnishings are sometimes a bit shabby, but I'll trade that for extra space anytime.

This place is great. Staff is friendly, rooms are spacious (or mine was, at least) there is a really nice rooftop bar and restaurant, and it's neat many good restaurants and stores, especially for a hotel in Midtown. The concierge was especially helpful. Also, for a hotel in New York the price was quite good. The little things make this...

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Kimberley . Was visiting NYC from Ireland with friends. As many mentioned many times from previous reviewers, this hotel is in a great location to base yourself if staying midtown . The exterior entrance is still under construction and has been since last time I visited in 2012 but it made...

We just stayed 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. They upgraded us to a corner suite just for asking. Service was always with a smile. The amenities were great and lots of little extras. Awesome rooftop bar and great breakfast served up there. Location was perfect. It could not have been any better.

Pros: good location, on East side. Close to lots of things, but far enough away to be quiet. Good size rooms, with kitchen area, sitting area, and huge bed. Couple of good bars in the hotel, not hotel bars, but more upmarket trendy type places. If you don't like trendy, and I don't if not in company, then there are...

Great location to everything in Mid-town. Hotel outside was under construction, but the inside was great. Staff went out of their way to accommodate me checking in early and even upgraded my room. Suite was spacious and very comfortable. Room service was timely and friendly as well. Overall great stay, and I plan on returning to visit for pleasure instead...

We just came off a 4 night stay here with our two kids ages 9 & 6. The room was very well priced for the size. It was huge, plenty of space for my family and we really appreciated that. The location is great, walking to many different places. We did not try Noir but did go to the rooftop...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
