I found this little hotel to be a “Hidden Gem” of the Hilton NY Family. Just a few blocks from Grand Central Station on 42nd East and 2nd Ave, it resides in the renovated historic Tutor Hotel. The hotel was immaculate and kept to a...More

Stayed for a weekend in this delightful hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Everything about it was lovely: Fast, courteous check-in with Matthew, impeccably clean room, a gorgeous view of the Tudor City area, thick, fragrant bed linens, a nicely stocked bathroom. Elevators always arrived within...More

We paid for the optional "upgrade" to a "junior suite with balcony" and what we got was a small dark room with a balcony that was locked shut, and therefore unusable. The hallways smelled bad and the lobby was worthy of a bus terminal. Other...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We left our bags there for 5 days while travelling, we simply put them in the room, took the tag and then came back to get them upon our return. As long as you have the ticket, all is well. However since you are actually staying in the hotel there should be no problem but I will give you one tip: If you have any trouble at all (and you probably will becasue the staff is not top notch) then ask for the reception manager Andrea, she is BOOM! She gets things done and makes things happen.
All the Best!
