The best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The shower with NY map is a nice touch. However, the positives end here. The elevator is old and slow. The rooms are way too small for my taste. The bed is only a full size. No coffee in the room or in the lobby, which...

Very small rooms and noisy AC/Heat unit. But the room was clean and staff fairly friendly. This hotel is definitely on the smaller side. The location was the main reason I booked this place. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I have to.

Me and my friend booked the tiny room because it was one of the cheapest we could find and when we arrived at the hotel they told us that we were upgraded for free to a queen bedroom! Therefore, this is going to be a positive review :P The bedroom was really nice, big and comfortable. There was also some...

We liked the staff and found them very helpful. We loved the location. Rooms are small but comfortable. Try to get a room on front side where you will get good sun light. Backside rooms are dark. Bright and small is way better than dark and small. There is only one (slow) elevator. We loved the free walking tour and...

Arrived early evening, checked in no issues. Room size not big but comfortable. Great bathroom and shower. Found the staff really polite and helpful at all times. This hotel is situated right by a subway and only minutes from Ground Zero. Plenty of good coffee shops nearby, and restaurants you do really have a great choice. Not visited New York...

OK yes the rooms are smaller than average but why are you in your hotel room in New York except to sleep ? Do you need a big room to sleep in? This hotel is a delightful secret set in the heart of Tribeca. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left this hotel was a delight, things...

The Cosmopolitan is extremely well located to discover the area of lower Manhattan/Tribeca. Easy to reach on the Subway, the personnel was very friendly and competent. Like in most places in Manhattan, the room was a bit smallish, but clean and well equipped. It would have been lovely to have the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, but there...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
