Great location, very friendly and attentive staff, clean room, very affordable for NYC. We would recommend this hotel to others who would like to experience the Tribeca area. Close to the waterfront and walking distance to Soho, Greenwich and Bryant Park.

I would highly recommend the Cosmopolitan. The service was warm and friendly. I was upgraded, and was made to feel very special. The rooms were clean and the bed was so comfy. Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, or a short cab ride. Fabulous!

Great location with the subway station of 3 main lines just outside the entrance. Very friendly staff. Room was decent size, brand new and very clean. Only issue was that one of the days our used shampoo and shower gel were not replaced and we had to leave a message for them to be replaced the next day. Elevator was...

We selected this hotel because the subway entrance was close and it was in a good location. The room was the size of my closet at home... I felt highly mislead by the size of the room on the website. My boyfriend and I could hardly move around comfortably when changing. Thankfully we were only there to sleep and get...

Simple, efficient, great location. The rooms are perfect - very clean and newly remodeled. Location is perfect for business or pleasure, and lots of restaurants and cafes located nearby. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice area, that was the main reason for choosing the hotel. The room didn't contain a fridge or a water boiler on the room. The room had no day light, only a close up facing fasade. Although that made the room very quiet, no traffic noise.

Rooms are the smallest I've ever had anywhere in the world, but nice. Bathrooms are nice as well. There is no lobby and only one elevator. Due to the small size, every sound possible can be heard. Luckily, it's peaceful at night. I stayed on the top floor and the road noise was extremely distracting. Great restaurants very close by,...

Rooms not large, but good use of space. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Conveniently located near good restaurants Located in SoHo near Tribeca. Doesn't look like much from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the room. Lobby very plain.

Good location, beside subway and a short walk from World Trade Center train station. Easy walking distance to many tourist sites. Conveniently located near good restaurants. A full grocery market with fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as freshly baked goods, is across the street.

I stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel - Tribeca for just one night when I had an interview in NYC. I had never been to the city before so I had no idea where to book, and I'm a student, so I have limited funds, so I was on the lookout for something that was a good value. This hotel was...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
