Very comfortable, pristine and pretty bathroom, great view of the Woolworth Building. Bed was a little too soft for my taste, but that's a minor complaint.

I stayed at the Cosmopolitan for one night earlier this week, and will absolutely plan to stay there again. The location in Tribeca is very convenient, right at the Chambers subway station on Broadway. The rooms are quite small relative to the hotels where I usually stay, but the bed was quite comfortable, the wifi free, and the bathroom new...

The location alone is a reason to stay here. Steps from the subways redline, which can lead to theatre, Times Square, Macy's, Central Park. A block away from the subways blue line which takes you to JFK airport. Close to Canal, 12 minute walk or 2 subway stops, a 3 minute walk to WTC. Great restaurants and night clubs close...

I stayed at The Cosmopolitan in 2009 and was very impressed. Our room was a good size with a tv and safe, and the bathroom was nice and clean. They don't offer much in the way of amenities, but come on, you're in NYC, get out onto the streets! The area had some great little restaurants and takeaways very close...

I traveled there with 2 of my friends. We were able to get a room with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa for a very reasonable price for NYC. There was nothing glamourous but it was clean and convenient. Metro station was right across the street. From the hotel, you can walk to many different areas. Starbucks was...

I had a business trip in Tribeca, and chose this hotel because it was the most reasonably priced one near my project. On the plus side, the people are very nice, and the location is fantastic, both for walking and for the subway access. The internet is also good. On the bad side? Really tiny room, decent for one person,...

I stayed at the hotel this month and really enjoyed it. Staff is really friendly and helpful, my room was clean and nice. the location could possibly be better for super shoppers, but there is a subway station few steps from the hotel entrance, so traveling should not be a problem. I would stay there again.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
