Great location and price! It's not luxurious but for the price it's ok. you get a free 'breakfast' which is coffee and toast etc but if you want a coffee refill you have to pay for it. If there's a problem with air-conditioning etc , just let them know downstairs and they'll fix it.

Wow. I usually stay in the cheapest motels possible, like Motel 6 or Days Inn, so I'm not really a hotel snob. But wow. I had low expectations because of the price, but this was (almost) the worst place I've ever stayed. It started out well: we got a cheap place because, to us, it was "just a place to...

I see a lot of people complaining about the noise and size of the room, but to be honest, I don't think their complaints are justified. Yes, the rooms are very small, and they are somewhat overpriced. This is NYC, if you're looking for a big room, than you're going to have to pay more than "budget hotel" price. But...

Stayed here for 3.5 nights. We arrived at 5am & were put on the first floor (level 2 on their lifts) & we immediately went back to change room but the night auditor was worse than useless. Lied to me by telling me the hotel was full (Expedia said 7 rooms were available) then wouldn't tell me the refund policy....

I have stayed at this hotel for a few days while visiting nyc a few years ago. The hotel is small, old and dim, the room we stayed in was old fashioned, which didn't really bother me while we were basically out and about all day. it was clean, tough. At the beginning there were some issues with elevator, but...

We had low expectations, but were nonetheless disappointed. Apart from the tiny and dark rooms, we were shocked to discover how rude, unhelpful and unapologetic the staff were. We had called to pre-arrange a package delivery to the hotel, which was then rejected. This was followed by a series of unfortunate interactions on site. With the exception of one member,...

If your looking for great location this is it!! Super affordable! My daughter and I stayed two nights to do some shopping and for broadway shows. We spent little time in our room which met our needs for the short time. The space is small but who cares!! Our room was clean, air conditioner worked and slept great. If you...

Don't let the closeness to Central Park and Times Square sway you to book a room at this hotel. It is terrible. The elevator max load is 4 people. And takes for every to go one floor. The rooms are the size of a closet and with a double bed it is close to wall to wall bed. The bed...

So I should start by saying that I'm not sure about the value since I have seen hostels that looked much better at the same price. Another thing to mention - this review is written after we changed the first room we got that was tiny as hell (could never fit 2 people) and smelled like mold. Pros: 1. Location...

    Staying in Midtown

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
