Spend my time in a bunkbed room with a separate bathroom with an acquaintance. The separate bathroom was nice and just across the hall, providing is the necessary privacy while sharing the room. The room had a window with a peek-a-boo view. Many restaurants nearby...More

The location was great! We had a room with bunk beds and a shared bathroom. It's very clean, close to all of the popular destinations, and a modern feel. We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend!
I stayed at Pod 51 for a full week in Mid Feb.
It was perfect for my needs and excellent value for money when compared to other New York Hotels.
I had a private shower/toilet and paid approx’ $140 per night including all taxes
This is a great hotel for people who enjoy staying in New York and not paying ridiculous prices for just putting their heads down on a pillow. The hotel was clean and pleasant, the room had everything one needs, on a small scale. But the...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

When I stayed there was a very small hairdryer under the sink. There was no security deposit when I firm booked ans paid in advance. Prices vary depending on what day you go and not size of the room, one night I paid $100 a night another I paid $150. I suggest buying directly from their website rather than an outside source as you can get a 10% discount if you firm book and 5% discount on a flexible booking, not sure when this offer expires. And yes there are full bottles of shampoo conditioner and body wash in the bath tub that come out via a pump (not like the travel size ones that normal hotels give that you can keep). Be mindful that the rooms are extremely small but there is a tiny closet and storage unseen the bed. Enjoy!!
