This hotel was the PERFECT location! We arrived at 10am and just expected to drop off our bags as check in stated 3pm but they had a room ready early. The view from our window was amazing and the location is so close to everything you need to do a weekend in NYC. The management staff was great and they...

The Hotel featured all the hotel amenities we are always looking for plus the hotel was situated in the most convenient location ever! It was within walking distance to a lot of the places we planned on visiting which saved us on cab fair. We'll definitely be back! A great stay.

Poor experience while staying here. Hotel staff rude, cc was charged a incorrect fee. Was locked out of our room for over 35mins, first room assigned wasn't clean. Location was great, central located.

Stayed here recently and left an item in the room. I called right away that night and also filed a report online, as told. I got a call from the lost and found to tell me that the item was not found (no surprise). I wanted to confirm the room number and was put on hold for over 10 minutes...

It's in a great Mid town location - bolted onto the side on the beautiful New York Central Station, so it's very easy to travel around on the Subway, (and get home to late at night). It's very close to the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. It's a huge building, so don't expect a boutique experience. I had an upgraded...

We arrived to our hotel in the dark, a very impressive hotel, a large entrance with elevators and large pieces of art . We joined the que to the booking in desks and was seen by a young lady who came over a being a little abrupt (I had been told New Yorkers can come across like this at times)...

The Grand Hyatt has a grand entrance, grand foyer and a grand location but that's where it stops. Our room was big enough and the bed comfortable enough but we had to have the AC blowing hot air the whole time as the room was freezing. Unfortunately the windows are all single glazed, so being there in December meant the...

Nicely remodeled lobby and rooms but our tub didn't drain. The biggest problem was that they don't validate parking for the public parkings in the area that advertise "hotel parking" so you have to pay full price for parking.

Not a single complaint about the hotel. Easy to get to, easy to travel from, and very comfortable accommodations. I traveled here for a quick trip to the city and it was easy for my girlfriend and I to make a quick transition from grand central to the hotel and then see some sights in the city.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
