I like the upper west side in New York and The Parker Meridien was a new hotel for me. The location is handy as you can walk to Times Square or head off to Central Park. I also like the area around Colombus Circle and the hotel was a walk away to the Circle. The check in was friendly and...

The Le Parker Meridien had everything I needed and even a few things you wouldn't expect. Great proximity to the Park, all the midtown sites, subways lines and even the chaotic energy of Trump tower. Perfect location. The gym gave enough options, once you figured out how to get there. Also loved the pool with an incredible view and warm...

This hotel is a fantastic location in between Times Square and Central Park and just far enough from the hustle and bustle to still feel very central. The rooms are quite dark however very big for Manhattan hotels. The breakfast for 3 people came to $120 which was not justified in the slightest, the eggs were cold and the order...

Dear Hannah R, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay. I'm happy to read that you had a mostly positive experience. I'm sorry that your meal at NORMA'S did not live up to your expectations. NORMA'S is definitely more of a 'splurge' type of restaurant than a typical hotel breakfast restaurant. I'm also sorry that the facility fee...

Great location, room overlooked Central Park, the hotel has amenities most hotel in NYC don't, the staff were most helpful, this hotel should be number one on your go to list in NYC. The rooms are well appointed spacious, the bed was probably one of the best I have experienced in a hotel. The location is terrific for those who...

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our cruise. Given the price, we expected a little more. There was a charge for everything..location was ok. Absolutely no view at all from our room. Room was basic for superior. A lot of noise too which we expected anyway.

Dear MRandMRSCCardiff, Thanks very much for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay. I'm sorry to read that your room didn't quite meet your expectations. Our Superior rooms are one of our basic room categories and look out onto the neighboring buildings in the area. I believe you'd enjoy our Tower Parkview rooms much more with their...

So I have stayed here twice and overall I would recommend it. I had some minor adversity to overcome ie: noisy toilet, not working mini bar, 85 dollars for coffee for two and tea for my 12 year old (no food). You get the picture. All remedied lickity split after a friendly chat with the M.O.D. Great location and nice...

Not a great experience. No coffee maker in room. Bathroom was very small. Lobby area constantly crowded with customers for the hotels burger joint. It may be very profitable for the hotel, but it does detract from ambience of the hotel. The bar/coffee bar is very good and the staff in the bar were very nice.

Dear 513cameron, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay. I'm sorry to read that your experience left you feeling disappointed. While we don't have coffeemakers in our rooms, coffee is available around the clock via room service and during most of the day and evening at Knave, which I'm happy to see you enjoyed. I'm sorry that you...

I've been going to Le Parker Meridien intermittently for fifteen years. Sometimes I really love the place because of the views, the comfortable rooms, and the enclosed-roof top pool. My trip in late December was disappointing, though it wasn't entirely the hotel's fault. First, the lobby isn't really a lobby. There's a check in area that is frequently clogged with...

We stayed for 3 nights just before Christmas, great location, nice roof top pool. Rooms are ready for a refit but are nice. Big drawback was the cost of drinks in the bar, $20 for lager or Guinness - ouch that hurt, a lot

Couldn't have asked for a more centrally located hotel. Close to everything. The lobby area is beautiful. The rooms were nicely appointed and typically smallish but comfortable. The staff was amazing. The views from the rooftop pool are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
