I spent a night at this hotel yesterday. The front desk staff is very warm and friendly. The room is big for Manhattan. We had some housekeeping issues, but the Assistant General Manager, Michael, handled the matter to my satisfaction. I believe it was an isolated issue, and

The hotel had great rooms with good view. Good location with a short stoll to the hudson river. It's also loads of differt resturants nearby plus a short walk to the 9/11 memorial. I love new york and the beautiful places to see. Highly recommend this hotel.

Without traffic Newark Airport to the Marriott should take 30 mins or less and I would Uber. As far as the subway, absolutely get a Metro Card as there are stations close by the hotel.

Uber or cab would be best to get from Newark. A $20 metro card should be more than sufficient to get around for the weekend.

No there is not. You can take a bus then get on the subway. We used Uber to and from LaGuardia for around $45.
