The Marriott Marquis is a great place to stay if you don’t plan on being here a lot! Our room looked over TS and it was phenomenal to sit and watch! The staff was wonderful to the last person. Easy walk to many many sites-...More
My guy and I decided somewhat last minute to cash in some points and take off for a weekend in NYC. As Marriott loyalists we opted to stay in the middle of it all and upgraded to a suite with a Times Square view. It...More
The Marriott Marquis was top notch. We decided to come to New York for a get away from all the drama surrounding Hurricane Harvey. This trip was extremely too short. Can't wait to return. The Marriott went above and beyond and we were allowed to...More
A mate and I needed a break while wives continued shopping and our concierge pointed us to the bar in the Marriott time square. A fantastic view down over time square. It’s like sitting up amongst the big boards. A great warm spot to kill...More

Dear Peter M,

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

The Marriott is closer to Grand Central, but wasn't that difficult from Penn Station. We arrived at Penn Station and took the 1,2, or 3 train to 42nd St. and then it was 4 blocks to the hotel. Hope this helps.
