The people at the Marriott were nicer than the staff at Sheraton. The rooms were smaller but cheaper than the Sheraton. The environment was also more modern than the Sheraton. However the Sheraton has a more convenient location.
If you want to be in the heart of Times Square, don’t mind the noise, enjoy constant crowds of people then this is the place. My family loved it here. The elevators have a unique floor system but extremely efficient once you do it. You...More
This hotel was everything New York City is: bright, shiny, and exciting. The look is modern and the staff is excellent. Our room had a nothing special view, but our friends had a spectacular river view. We did however have a spacious comfortable room for...More
Enjoyed our stay at Marriott Marquis. Room was clean and spacious by New York standards. The location could not be beat. Only tradeoff, is simply how constantly busy it is. Large crowds at all times, which I knew booking, so no one to blame but...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
