This hotel has gone through major renovations over the past ten years. It is now a very comfortable clean and reasonably priced hotel in Manhattan. Directly across the street from Carnegie Hall and Red Eye Grill! This is a great hotel for large groups. Bravo! Customer service was right on! Appreciate the security and accommodating attitude.

I picked this hotel because of its location close to the subway and within walking distance of a number of other areas of interest, including central park. The lobby was beautiful but that's where it ended. Upon checking in they told me they had upgraded me. I ended up with two beds instead of the one King which was fine...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. We had a great stay here tho it was a busy Easter weekend. The elevators were always crowded. There are only two that work for the Park Central guests. Looks like there are atleast 5 or 6 others that must go to the Manhattan Club or some other section. We like...

We stayed her for 9 nights. Overall the hotel is pretty average and this is reflected in the rooms - although I found them to be clean and presented nicely. The shop in reception is terrifically overpriced - so be aware. The staff make this hotel though - very helpful and when they found out we were here to get...

Good location and a nice looking place but the service SUCKS and it's an absolute rip off. Aside from the high prices they sneak in a $33.50/night "facility fee" in the small print AND then they ask you to leave gratuities. This was all after housekeeping failed to make the beds in our room and left us 2 towels for...

Dear iggi75, Thank you for your review. Although I am pleased you enjoyed our centralized location, I am displeased that you did not have the experience of excellent guest service that we strive to provide. In no way are these attitudes indicative of our standards. Additionally, I am unhappy for the issues you encountered with the housekeeping of you room....

After an exhausting trip from Europe, the staff attempted aggressively to persuade us that we booked a room with a king size bed. Not true. They were arrogant, did not apologize and would not even discuss that matter until we showed them our voucher specifying that we booked a twin size bed. They claimed that they did not commit any...

Considering the rate per night you would expect friendly service and a clean room. That is not the case with the Park Central Hotel. Upon entering my room there were two bloody q tips on the bathroom floor. I call the front desk to have them send someone to remove them and clean the bathroom but nobody came. All the...

This was my first overnight visit to NYC. I was expecting to be in a room the size of a walk in closet and was surprised to find the room incredibly spacious and comfortable. Stayed at this hotel in April 2017 & received top notch service. Due to weather delays & flight cancellations/rebookings, the process of getting to the Park Central was delayed and stressful--but the helpful phone calls with hotel staff during flight delays and the warm welcome upon arrival were much appreciated. Room was very clean, corner views of city, perfect for...

I stayed 4 nights. My overall experience was that this hotel is super overpriced. There are soo many more hotels with a lot better service than this. We were treated poorly by the front desk, that seemed very unwilling to give good customer service. No information about the hotel in the rooms or at the front desk informing us anything....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
