We came here for new year, and by god we had VIP treatment. We were close to the fireworks, and the concert. We also received a VIP access card. They were very friendly. The only bad thing I have to say is that the rooms are a bit. Small. But that took nothing away from the spectacular views !! Highly...

I would say one of the best locations in Manhattan, just next to Times Square. Very good service by the staff. I think this hotel is always occupied unless you book in advance. Rooms are not the best I have seen as it seems to be quite old. First elevator from entrance to the lobby is quite old and takes...

We moved from the Westin @ Grand Central and loved this hotel. The staff is very good, and concierge great. The bar has an unbelievable view of Times Square my 8 & 10 year olds were mesmerized with the view. We will be back.

We found this hotel to be a perfect base for our NYC stay. Close to shopping, great restaurants, the theaters, the park - we were able to walk almost anywhere we wanted to go to. The staff was friendly and competent. The rooms were clean and nice. Only negative was that we could hear our neighbors pretty clearly through the...

This hotel is literally right by the discount ticket booth in Times Square. We stayed with points and had the complimentary breakfast buffet and appetizer/drink coupons. The lounge overlooks Times Square from 3 different views. The food was all very good and breakfast featured a variety of items including hot dishes rotated daily. This is a hotel with a very...

An extremely busy Saturday night in Times Square - throngs of people speaking every language. Delightful to experience but can be a bit overwhelming - even for a native New Yorker. How nice is it to leave a theater, walk a few steps through the mass of humanity and enter the quiet oasis that is the Renaissance, Times Square. Very...

I took a red eye from San Francisco and arrived at the hotel at 8am. The plan was to drop off our bags and go out for breakfast, but I decided to check if they had a room available so that we could shower prior to hitting the city. The gentleman who helped us did everything he could and was...

Hotel was OK, not what we expected it to be, free WiFi for only 3 hours is a bit pointless if your staying for 4 days. Location is fantastic and was very quiet which is surprising for the middle of Times Square. Room only and the price of food is a bit steep but there is places to eat all...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
