Do not recommend staying here this summer! We were too hot our entire trip.We weren't the only ones. Lots of people were complaining about it. The a/c system was just insufficient to cool the rooms. They did send up a fan which helped, but still too hot. If you do come, I reccomend spending a little more for they're better...

This year as in previous times I chose THE MANHATTAN AT TIMES SQUARE to spend our Easter holidays. This is my third time staying at this hotel, for many reasons, Great location within easy reach of buses and subway restaurants and best shops..central park… But this time my visit was not as pleasurable as I would have liked to rest...

Bellhop never came. The AC so slow and doesn't cool. Bathroom dirty and rusted. Towels were stained and one was torn. Staff was indifferent and made poor excuses. Not worth the price. Stayed at Fairfield Inn a few streets down after for half the price and it was so much better!

the property has a run down feel to it. The carpets the bathrooms and the mattresses all need to be refurbished. Found it quite irritating that the house keeping trolleys remained in the corridor all day. The location on 51st and 7th Avenue is the redeeming factor to the otherwise disappointing short stay.

This hotel is all about location... but needs updates urgently. Towels were a big handy wipes (horrible). Room temperature were sets in the 70's, and when called to request someone to set the temperature lower the handyman let the window open, when required for and explanation he said they cannot turn on the air conditioner "because is an old system...

I was already angry after being charged an outrageously expensive room rate (coming to more than $300/night) in a clear attempt to “hide” 20% of the room charges (tax, service and the ‘facilities’ fees -- for wifi, a water pouch and to use the fitness center! -- in my non-refundable Booking.com reservation. Then I saw the hallway and rooms. The...

I was very disappointed in this hotel. Their website is so deceiving. Looked nice online but in fact is was outdated and unclean. I will never stay there again! There are much nicer hotels in that same area. It was overpriced for what you get!

The location was fantastic for Time Square and the Rockefeller centre and only about...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
