I was in NY to do fabric shopping with a client, and due to a mix up in booking on Hotels.com. I ended up with a one bedroom/one bed suite, and I needed a 1 bedroom/2 bed. Zoe at the Front Desk, she was able to find me a room, and sent up a bottle of wine for my trouble....

And the location you can not beat. I went to the Hockey game across the street at Madison square garden. I just got a fitbit and am...

Stayed here (in NYC) for new year and we were booked in to this hotel by Virgin Atlantic. The foyer is great and the staff and very friendly and typically service orientated - exceptional in this sense. However, the hotel rooms were very, very 'tired'. We were in a large family 'suite' - the bathroom was from the 1970's; there...

Excellent stay at the Stewart ( formerly Affinia Manhattan ) with a refreshed attitude brought about by new management. This property is one of the hidden gems of Midtown with a convenient location and lots of speedy elevators, big rooms with kitchenettes and outdoor terraces are an added bonus. The front desk is fast and most welcoming - especially Jenny...

WOW!!!! This place is amazing! The staff is incredible and the accommodations are perfect. Let me start at the beginning... This hotel is perfectly positioned at Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. I had been staying at another hotel 6 blocks away that was disgusting, but all I could get last minute on a holiday weekend in NYC. I found...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
