My favorite NYC hotel. For a price that is. I always get a one bedroom suite and feel like I'm in someone's apartment. Big and roomy. I agree the bathrooms are sometimes small (although this trip mine is huge!) The staff is great and best if all are the white gloved elevator operators who are total throwback. The perfect location... More

At the Lombardy, we had a room with two queen beds. Window to the inner court: very quiet, at the price of a view on the cooling units of the surrounding buildings. The room was very nice, roomy, with two walk-in closets and even a kitchenette. Very weak point: the bathroom, for the lack of proper maintenance. I complained twice... More

When you fly 20hrs plus for business, you need all those little things. Before I give my critique, the Lombardy grew on me during my stay. If I was here for a Holiday for a few weeks I would definitely recommend this. Business travellers especially travelling long distances buyer beware as there is no stocked minibar so when you do... Renovations are incredible. Terrific location (between Park and Lexington). Most rooms are oversized and very comfortable. Informative, helpful, and considerate staff. Extremely easy access to town cars and cabs. Our room had a kitchenette (sink, small refrig., microwave; stove; coffee maker).

The Lombardy has one thing that everyone staying in NYC would love to have: size. The rooms are spacious by any standards, let alone NYC standards. The front desk staff were courteous and professional, as was the bell hop and the bag handlers. We stayed in room that was advertised as two queen beds--one of our main attractions as we... More

We stayed here with five adults in a one bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. The room we got was very nice with a nice kitchen, good size living area and a nice size bedroom. It was modern and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy. The doormen and front desk people were also very helpful and professional.... More

We stayed there twice in the month of May in a 1 Bedroom apartment. The first apartment was amazing, tastefully decorated, 2 walk in closets, small kitchen but adequate. Extremely comfortable king size bed. The 2nd apartment was not as nice, had AC trouble, but 2 bathrooms, large, with a modem. It was very comfortable. It was a 900 sf... More

We stayed in June and had a deluxe king room. The room had a kitchenette and the main area was divided into two areas, one with the king bed and TV and the other area with 2 comfy chairs, a table and another large TV. Very comfortable and although we didn't cook it was good to bring meals home and... More

Minor kerfuffle on check in with one front desk staff. When issue was straightened out I would have loved an apology instead he sent his colleague over to address the oversight. The suite was lovely. Perfect for entertaining. Tasteful decoration. 2 bathrooms. Walk in closet. Well stocked kitchen area. Comfortable king size bed. The air conditioning unit was a little... More

We arrived early than expected, and our room was ready, reception staff was friendly, it is locatet at walking distance to many attractions. It was an indication from our friends and we were positively surprised. We couldn't make a better choice!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
