Had a wonderful stay...wish it could have been longer. Would come back with pleasure. Have filled this survey out because the service Inreceived is worthy of the time it is taking me to do so... Am looking forward to the opening of the new restaurant!

Excellent boutique hotel with efficient service and luxurious acomodations. Concierge service is excellent and rapid. All staff very engaging and ready to serve. The only limitation is the present lack of a bar area and associated restaurant both of which are scheduled to open in the next 30 days. Very quiet for NYC

We only stay at the Lowell when we come to New York. Elegant, comfortable, intimate and lovely wood burning fireplaces in some of the suites. Close to the museums, shopping, dining and all that the Upper East Side has to offer.

Have travelled to NYC many times, usually staying at the St Regis, Michelangelo, or downtown. So, this was the first time at The Lowell upon recommendation of a friend. Great recommendation!! While not cheap, the suites or lovely and comfortable, like a great house. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The waiter for breakfast actually brings in his homemade...

We could live at the Lowell. The one-bedroom suite with fireplace and living/dining rooms is delightful. We enjoyed two warm and cozy real-wood fires (they do all the work for you). Nice room, great location and excellent service. The gym is not really a gym and the lobby is not much of a lobby. The dining room, again, is small...

This place is a fortune and I can't really figure out why. Room design is nothing special and service is just adequate. If anything , service is either standoffish or overly attentive which can be annoying. The lobby is under construction so check in is unimpressive. For the super high prices , I'd definitely look elsewhere.

I truly enjoyed my stay at The Lowell. It was just absolutely marvelous. The room is quite elegant, beautifully decorated yet warm and inviting. But what makes this hotel so special is its outstanding service by the friendly...

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
