This was a great location for our one night in NYC with our friends. Five couples stayed at this hotel to celebrate a few special birthdays. Many choices for restaurants and it was close to many events and the metro!

We loved this hotel. The location is fantastic, the rooms are quite large, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and despite the Times Square location, it is very quiet! The Michelangelo is our new favorite New York City hotel!

We've been staying at The Michelangelo for about 15 years and enjoy our stay every time. The room is perfect, clean and spacious. This trip I noticed two small things that have changed. No longer can you go to the lobby in the morning and get a complimentary coffee-there is a $3 charge and for that you are better off...

Just spend 6 nights at the Michelangelo. Beautifual hotel with very comfy beds. Great location... just a few blocks to 5th Avenue shopping, Radio City Music Hall, Rockfeller Center, Central Park, and Times Square. There are 2 Metro stations 2 blocks away. We walked everywhere and had a blast. We got a great deal on a very large corner room...

Chose the Michelangelo for access to business meeting, but ended up adding 3 days for pleasure. Super location for everything in midtown - Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller, Central Park. Subway a block away for uptown & everything south. Friendly staff, quiet room, great value for location & quality of accommodations. Will return next time in NYC!

Hotel's location is great-main reason we selected it. Walking distance to everything. Hotel condition was below our expectations. Too much old furniture. One bedroom king suite too small, reserved it for 3 people-doesn't provide accommodations for three. Services were very good. Very clean everything.

The hotel is in a great location. Quick stroll to Times Sq, Rockefeller (great views) 5th Av and Central Park. Subway to downtown close and easy to use. Ellen's Stardust Diner just down the road was enjoyed by my two teenage daughters!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
