The hotel itself is worth it's price just in the parking! Where else on 42nd street can you park for $20.00 a day in a secure area! The hotel itself was not bad, certainly not luxury, but a decent bargain. The lobby smelled strongly of cleaner or cleaning solution. Our room was small but clean with 2 full size beds,...

Our first time in the US - so excited! But also terrified. Had read all sorts of reviews about 3-star hotels in Manhattan - and almost all were terrible. Decided to take our chances with the Travel Inn. All in all, I think we did OK. Not exactly cheap (USD 200/night including tourism tax and city tax), but we were...

My family and I have stayed there numerous times the past 10 years. My last trip there(last Sunday) I left my jacket inside the room. I called the hotel and spoke with the housekeeper and she told me that my jacket was there. I spoke with the office manager(unfortunately I don't know her name) and she immediately offer to send...

My sisters and friends all traveled from around the states to meet in NYC! I found the Travel Inn and took a chance! It was perfect! From the parking onsite to the hotel staff and rooms all close together! Walking distance to Times Square and felt very safe!!

I have stayed her numerous times the past 10 years or so and always found it nice. In the past it was clean and reasonable for new York standards. This time was just ok. Room must have had a smoker. So when we went to our room there was an ozone machine running and a towel and Lysol on table....

Good location but rooms need an urgent update, no breakfast included but diner next door offered reasonable priced breakfast. Not sure of price because business package but check the amount and shop around.

Needed to find a Hotel for the night for me and my boyfriend to stay at after a concert and I found this one to be the most reasonably priced hotel! Customer Service was a great! When we first checked into our room, it was like a sauna in there. The heat in the building was blasted to the max....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
