This hotel is our go to place in New York City because of the neighborhood and especially because of their wonderful staff. They will accomodate almost any request you have within reason of course. Decor is a little dated but this is hardly a problem for us because we are treated so well at this hotel.

This was our first stay but I'm sure we'll be back. We loved the neighborhood feel plus the proximity to the Natural History Museum and Central Park. Plenty of restaurants. Hotel is old but very well kept up. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Water pressure excellent. Staff very friendly.

After all great reviews, I was really disappointed in this place. So much to recommend about it, however - a good upper west location, amazing building, lovely rooms decor wise. However, the rooms are absolutely tiny (Superior Queen Room is basically very small even it sounds great). The staff very lovely, so this was on the upside but note for...

Lovely night in this beautiful hotel while spending an overnight with a friend to compete at the USPDF at the Symphony Space theater on 96th. Close to the subway, easy access to neat looking restaurants and bars. Lovely lobby and tastefully decorated rooms.

I love the Lucerne. I've stayed here 5 or six times. Each time I'm always surprised at how rude the staff is. But the location is great-even with the ongoing construction. The rooms are large and did I mention great location.

Our first visit to the Lucerne Hotel, we arrived early the staff was very accommodating and checked us in early. Front Desk staff Robert,Jemma and Edwin were very helpful. We will be coming back in the future for sure. Beautiful decor in the lobby and rooms.

I travel to NY several times per year and used to stay at another hotel in the neighborhood that went way downhill. I had been to the restaurant attached to the hotel a few times and decided to give the Lucerne a try. It's my new favorite. I have now stayed here five times. Twice with my teen boys, and...

My initial experience with the Lucerne was by telephone with the reservation agent SHELLEY N. She was exceedingly warm, friendly, helpful, yet professional, there are not enough superlatives to discribe her care. She gave a positively wonderful first impression. Because of her thoughtfulness, I had a fabulous 65th birthday in NYC. The Lucerne is very lucky to have team member...
