It was my first time in New York and the hotel was the perfect choice. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. When I return to New York, I plan to stay there. The location was spot on, and I felt very safe. It was clean and absolutely stunning. Can't wait to go back!

Arrived an hour early for check in thinking that since we requested a room on an upper level (noise) that we would need to wait. Were given a room on the 12th floor ( there is only a penthouse meeting space above it) immediately from a very helpful desk coordinator. Everyone on the hotel staff was similarly friendly and helpful....

I like this area, maybe because we used to live on this block, and the Lucerne makes it feel like an apartment and not a hotel. The room was clean and for the most part quiet, we did have some eleveator noise that was uncomfortable to sleep with. Good size closet, the queen room is small, even for NYC, the...

The check in staff were great, very helpful and pleasant. The room was bigger than we thought, plus it had tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was quite big too. I liked having a door man, it was easy to get a cab, or walk to the train. The park was a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants...

Arrived mid-morning and checked-in. Room was quiet and clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. Great restaurant next door (Nice Matin). Location is convenient, with Central Park just a block or two away.

Not the least expensive but welcoming. Cosy and up market.. Rooms were adequate.. Tea and coffee making was a nightmare as it kept breaking.. Bathroom was on small side with shower over bath...small wardrobe... No breakfast included... Two blocks from central park and easy access for subway... Would have chosen more central hotel next time. Taxis were hard to find...

Not a bad hotel but nothing in it really above average.Breakfast is next door (is connected through the reception area). Easy walk to many restaurants and bars. Very close to Central Park. The staff is helpful and polite. My rook looked at a brick wall. Not exactly a bargain.

This is a good hotel to stay in in NY. it has reasonable size rooms, friendly staff and is a reasonable walk, 25mins or so to downtown. It is a residential neighborhood with lots of good restaurants nearby. My only gripe is the water pressure in the shower vanishing at times.

I am from NJ and stayed at the Hotel with another single woman for a girls weekend in NYC. We had a great time and the Hotel was lovely. The location was perfect for our purposes. We attended services at The Carlebach Shul, which is about two blocks from the hotel. There is a 24 hour drugstore across the street....
