I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip. The room was a good size and the bathroom tidy (excusing a few hairs in the bath/bathmat). As the window overlooked Amsterdam avenue it was quite noisy, but when I pulled the 'decorative' curtains across (and held them in place with the chair) the noise dissipated, which was great. All...

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was great if you get the right room. When we first arrived the room we had was old and outdated. The shower was clogged up, so you were taking a shower in someone else dirt. Also the water pressure was terrible. Once we called and complained they switched us to an amazing...

First, this hotel saved me $500. I had really screwed up, finding out at the desk that I had booked my non-refundable/no changes room for the week AFTER we arrived. Not only did the desk staff get me a room on the spot at the same rate, but they arranged it so I did not have to pay for the...

The girl at the front desk had absolutely no manners or tolerance. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Plus you can hear everything into your room. I was going to let my family stay there for a week but I took a night instead ... HoRRible

I stayed at the Lucerne many times while traveling for work and thought very highly of it. I was going to be visiting with my family from out-of-town and found a great deal on the family suite. I booked it, and as part of the deal, you had to pre-pay in full, which I did. I had heard others I...

This is a great hotel away from the throngs of tourists and within easy walking distance to the Museum of Natural History as well as some great boutique shops, restaurants and delis. The hotel is well appointed, clean and cared for. Afternoon wine service in the lobby is an added treat.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights it was a great stay. The location is perfect! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing for us was the bathroom, it was a little dated. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay here again. The price was great for a nice stay in the Upper West...

Perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the convenient location. The subway is at the end of the block. The attached restaurant is also convenient and the staff is very attentive to hotel guests.

If only this hotel had thicker walls... The location was perfect for visiting family and being out of the crush of the holiday masses. However at these room rates, I should have researched that it was more of a full service hotel, and that I wouldn't feel like I was staying in someone's house where we can hear everything. I...

The Lucerne Hotel has a beautiful New York feel. It's in a fantastic location, away from the hustle and bustle of NYC Centre, close to the Subway and surrounded by local businesses and residential homes. Staff at the hotel were always friendly and helpful and the restaurant attached is really nice. There's a convenience store right across the road and...
