Great location for the upper west side. Subway station just a block away and lots of great eating spots on Amsterdam and Broadway. Easy to get to Central Park and then take a stroll through to the upper east side.

Nice hotel, clean and updated although older building. My room must have just had the doors painted because there was a strong smell of paint. The bathroom door was poorly positioned and made it difficult to get ready in the bathroom, but I guess that's part of being an old building...not a big deal. I liked that there was a... More

On all my vists to New York this is the only hotel we've stayed at. It is close to shopping, Times Square, and many other attractions. Subway is just down from hotel as well. Rooms are boutique style as with many other rooms in New York, but clean and quiet location.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my two grown up daughters. We had a double queen sized suite with a lounge area, small kitchen area with crockery ( woukd be better to have more than 2 mugs though when everything else came in 3's) and bathroom. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, our very large suitcases and... More

While most hotels offer a modern clean line feel these days, this hotel offers a timeless traditional decor. My room was outfitted with a comfortable bed that I easily sunk into each night after a long day of working with colleagues. The bathroom appeared to have undergone a recent remodel. Loved having a spacious closet for jackets and boots. Loved... More

I can't say enough good things about this place. First of all, I had seen a lower price for our room advertised a few days before our scheduled stay. So I called the reservation office & asked if we could get this price. Not only did they give me the advertised price, but beat it by $13. We knew check-in... More

We only stayed here one evening on our trip but our room, while not spacious, was well furnished and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and efficient. It was well located with lots of restaurants around. There was a pharmacy across the street which was handy as my husband had forgotten his razor. We would definitely stay here again.

We paid $500 per night for a 2 night stay in a queen room with one queen bed. Overpriced, in my opinion, I was disappointed with the small room and normal sized queen bed - most north american queens are larger. Rooms were clean but seemed dated and tired - i did not expect this since the website boasts that... More

Staff was nice and accommodating ;However, room was small and cramped for the $$$$$ = $400 a night with taxes (Superior Queen). Location was convenient to Beacon Theater and all the Upper West Side has to offer

We had a corner room on the 5th floor, 2 Queen Size Beds and more spacious than expected. We were 100 yds from the subway 1 line and we bought a metro ticket and topped it with rides, one card could be used by 2 people. The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, there are a number of good bars... More
