Comfortable beds, nice walk out patio. Air conditioner works. Overall,I was very impressed with the hotel. Staff were great. The ONLY problem is that if you are walking down Broadway, the hotel might be hard to find as it opens up on a side street. Wouldn't have been a problem if my phone had not died.

The common areas and bar downstairs were nice, I just feel the room didnt have much for how much I paid for it, 140-150 a night is really expensive for a room this small, that lacks amenities like a fridge, I've been in way better hotels for much cheaper, my stay here was a bit of a let down.

Hotel was nice location close to subways. Door staff was truly the most helpful. Desk staff, less than helpful. Steafina's restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. We did not find this hotel to be particularly occupant friendly.

NYLo is a modern hotel in a historic building on the Upper West Side. Great location, close to Central Park and Lincoln Center. Lovely open bar in lobby (which also includes a 'library' of sorts). Really great place to spend some time.

Staff communication skills and ability to quickly and effectively resolve major issues were poor. I've never experienced a situation like this where I was made to feel responsible for communicating the issue to SEVERAL staff members who continued to send me to other staff members- I didn't have the time or energy- ESPECIALLY to resolve an issue caused by staff...

Great location and easy access to subway. Close to Central Perk and Natural History Museum. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Try Nice Matin, two blocks away for dinner. Lower floors can be noisy due to traffic, so ask for a room on a higher floor.

Helpful staff, large rooms so we stay here every visit. The beds are very comfortable as well. Location is fantastic, close to shopping and great food. Red Farm restaurant is delicious and right next door.

A better room than last time - there are no real services - furniture is juvenile and not quality - bed is good though - never cleared our terrace of snow - though we requested it - elevators are fast

NYLO was a great price for New York. I booked online beachside if the price and the pictures and was a bit worried about a bait and switch. It was a large, modern, clean, quiet room. The staff was absolutely helpful and professional.

I booked a one night reservation during the snow storm for work. The front desk was helpful. Did not use most of the amenities such as the bar or restaurant due to it being a one night business trip therefore I was unable to give it the full five stars

“They advertised room we stayed in to have a panoramic view of the city and the Hudson River. We stayed in room 1408 and it had a very limited view of the Huddon and no view of the city. We mostly looked at the buildings across the street. When we complained about this, front desk staff was less then helpful just stating "nothing else available". Got the impression that it was just too bad we did not like our room. Also, because we were on the 14th floor, we had floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. There was snow on the balcony and when the heavy drapes were open that side of the room was cold even with the heat on. Would probably not stay in this hotel again. ”
