Stayed here 21st-28th November, it was the most perfect hotel for us in the heart of everything that we wanted to explore, with Times Square a 5 minute walk one way and Central Park another 5 minute walk in the opposite direction. You can even see Times Square as you walk out the front of the hotel. The hotel room... More

This hotel is in a great location but is very badly let down by being old and tired. The first room we were given had an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke despite the hotel`s alleged non smoking policy which they do not enforce. Even after a long wait when we managed to get a better smelling room the corridors still... More

Great Hotel ,bit old fashioned but we liked that , it was lovely and clean and you could not fault the staff. It is also a perfect location for all the sights. The wi fi is not free ,and there are no hot drink facilities in room, Which is a pain if you like a morning coffee. Our son and... More

My fiancé and I stayed here in November for 6 nights. Location was great, we could just walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Our room was nice but tiny, WIFI is expensive, our TV signal kept cutting out every couple of minutes and we could here exactly what the room next to us was doing. Staff were nice. Not... More

Very well located in Manhattan, close to Central Park and Times Square, a few steps to subway station N-Q-R, and one of the cheapest acceptable hotels with such a location. This being said, this is all you get. Outdated hotel and rooms. The rooms are small and not very clean. The blowing system in the inner courtyard is very noisy,... More

Well I stayed here with my husband and 2 children 7&12 and thought the location was just perfect. One way is Central Park and the other Times Square both probably the same distance of about 10 minute walk away. The hotel is a little dated so don't expect the wow factor but it does what it needs to. I would... More

Perfect hotel for what we needed. Don't be put off by negative views of this hotel. Yes the decor is a little dated and the wifi isn't free but does that even matter? (there are plenty of diners and cafes that have wifi if you really feel the need to be glued to your phone). The location is absolutely perfect.... More

If it's your first visit to NYC, this hotel is the perfect one to stay as it's located near Times Square and Central Park. It may look old fashioned inside, but the rooms are perfect and up to date. The gift shop inside is very handy for booking tickets for shows and attractions. Overall, the hotel is a very clean... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
