We stayed for 5 nights during August. We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were always friendly, rooms were clean and adequate, air con was a godsend, not noisy but did make a noise. Breakfast was basic but was a quick stop before we were out and about. Most hotels dont offer so it was bonus. The roof top bar was...

This was our first trip to NYC and could not have picked a better place to stay for our family of four. We booked the two bedroom family room which had plenty of space for all of us, nice bathroom, closet space, refrigerator and mini sink in hall and the girls liked having their own TV. Rooms were clean and...

Good location-close to Times Square but far enough away that you don't have to deal with the crowds out your front door. Very nice room which was small but adequate and most important, very clean with comfortable beds! Beware if you get a discounted room though because you will probably stay on a lower floor (we were on 2nd) facing...

This was my first visit to New York and I dont think me and my friend could have stayed in a nicer hotel. The hotel is located on W 35th Street, a stones throw away from the Empire State Building, 5 minutes from Times Square and 15 minutes from other big sightsteeing attractions such as The Rockafeller Centre, Grand Central...

The hotel is in an ideal location, you are half a block from the subway, less than a block to Macy’s and just around the corner from the Empire State Building. In fact from the roof deck of the hotel you get a commanding view of the Empire State Building. We were on the 10th floor and the room was...

We stayed at the metro for 3 nights at the end of July, the start of our honeymoon. On arrival we had to wait to check in, which we wasn't aware was 4.30pm & having arrived at 2pm tired after our flight wasn't the best....but we did purchase a drink and go and sit on the rooftop bar for a...

As others have said, the location is really superb, easy walking distance to places like Times Square, the Empire State, Grand Central station... Given the location, then for New York, this is definitely good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I had was on the small side, but to be honest, I expected that, given what...

We stayed here for 1 night over this past w/e & what a lovely, quaint hotel. It seemed to be about 5 blocks fron Times Sq. which wasn't too bad of a walk @ all. We had already stayed 1 block from Times Sq. on the 1st leg of our trip so this was great. Lovely room, lovely touches of...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
