We travelled from England for a weeks stay at the Casa De San Pedro in April and from the second we arrived we knew we had found a peace of heaven. Patrick and Karl are the perfect hosts, there to help whenever you need it. Every detail of the "Casa" is perfect. An outstanding place to stay. Beautifully furnished and...

The owners are so pleasant, the rooms are amazing, breakfast was wonderful. The hospitality was so special. It was a place I would go back to if I was in the area again. The place was also very clean, and it had no television a great benefit.

We enjoyed our early-spring visit to Case de San Pedro. The rooms are comfortable, the amenities are complete and the hosts are charmingly unobtrusive. It's quiet, and a perfect launch site for exploring the local environment or just sitting and watching wildlife. Of course, we would return just for the pie, too.

We were looking for a quiet and fairly remote place where we could relax in beautiful surroundings, and we found it at the Casa de San Pedro. Birds were flitting and tweeting all around, and there was a large area for ambling in nature. We walked along the river, taking photographs every few minutes. Our room was very comfortable, and...

I can really only echo what others have already said! My wife and I had a brief winter stay here at quite short notice but were looked after extremely thoughtfully. The setting, house and grounds are beautiful and attention to detail in our bedroom and the communal areas was amazing. The breakfasts were amongst the best we've ever had on...

I don't know that I've ever felt so cared for by my inkeepers. Special touches abound here, but I don't want to spoil the suprise. It would be easy to spend days here without getting in the car, just exploring the grounds and the river and the library. A lovely winter respite.

Thanks for your visit and for your kind comments. We also enjoy the calm and relaxing ambiance of the Casa and our unique location on the San Pedro River. Nature is the primary feature of the Casa - along with the wonderful relationships we savor with our guests. And the pies are pretty special too! We look forward to your...

Highly recommend the Casa if you long for solitude, if you are a birder, if you like wonderful home cooked breakfasts and gracious hosts. The magic of the Casa is its simplicity. Karl and Patrick are the most gracious proprietors you could ask for, they work hard to make your stay delightful (making breakfast every morning, and baking pies and...

Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate your support! Magic continues to reveal itself along the San Pedro River and at the Casa. Every day has new adventures with nature. A beaver in the river, hawks soaring overhead, Owls hooting in the early evening..... a miraculous environment that welcomes all of our guests. This valley really is a special...

This is our fourth trip here and it is never a disappointment. Patrick and Karl are great hosts. The property is peaceful, beautiful and lets not forget the birds. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are great and the homemade pies are outstanding! We can't wait to see Woody on our fifth visit!

We recently spent a couple of nights down @ the Casa de San Pedro. The proprietors, Karl & Patrick are consummate and low key gentlemen. While the Casa primarily (I believe) caters to bird enthusiasts, it's beautiful, peaceful riparian setting for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend or more. The breakfasts were superb! Anyone ever have a pork empanada? I'm...

We do hope to see you again - most of our guests find that the Casa becomes their favorite escape from the whirlwind world we live in - getting close to nature seems to strip away most of the stresses of the daily grind. And we do continue to search for innovative breakfast treats - as we travel to other...

Of course, if you are a birder, this is paradise; however, it is pretty heavenly no matter your interests. Located well into the embrace of nature - a river runs nearby, the surroundings are still quite unmarred and undeveloped - it is tranquil. The guest rooms surround a courtyard full of flowers and tinkling water. The rooms themselves are quite...
