First I would suggest staying in some other city where there are more choices and better rates, and if it's an issue, not a dry county. We found the selection of hotels to be minimal, overpriced, and not very well rated--perhaps because it is a dry county. We ended up staying at this motel--adequate and low priced, but not particularly...

After my car unexpectedly broke down in Middleboro, KY I needed a safe cheap place to stay. I found the Boone Trail Motel online and checked it out. It was less than $50/night and fit my needs perfectly. The TV was an old box TV on a shelf on the wall and I'm not sure if the pool is ever...

Never again will I make the mistake of staying here, not even as a last resort. I would sleep in my car beside the road before i stayed here again. Bathroom tiles and sink were cracked, caulking around the tub was mildewed, shower door track was filthy and the entire place smelled like dirty socks. To top it all off,...

We stayed here 1 night and that was 1 night to many. motel was outdated, very dirty and smelled. During the night someone tried to break into our car, getting away with nothing. The next day we received a call from our bank, there had been 9 charges to our credit card during the night, several nationwide and a couple...

On a family trip to Cumberland Gap area, this motel was a decent place to spend the night on a spontanious holiday road trip where everything else was already booked up. The rooms were clean, friendly service, and it was a good price.

Would I stay here again? Only if I had to. I am a fan of locally owned budget motels. I stay in them all the time. I only sleep in the room. I do not see spending a fortune to sleep. This place had more negatives than positives. I will start with the positives: clean, fairly new carpet, comfortable beds,...

Older motel, but very clean! Rooms were quiet, with huge windows for viewing tje Appalachian Mountains.. food very close by! Rooms could use a little updating, but were quire nice for the reasonable price, everything else in town was WAY overpriced! Great place! Will stay again!!

The rooms are cute and obviously designed in the past! But the staff was wonderful, there are limited outlets in room 25 where we stayed. And therefore every morning the manager makes coffee for those that want it. It's well placed no too far into town. Some times the clientele isn't the most savory, but the manager keeps a tidy...

We were geocaching in Northern Tennessee and did not make it as far as our plans indicated so we headed up and our first stop told us that the chains were all full for Labor Day Weekend, This was one of the choices given us and we were very happy with the choice. Rooms clean with ref and microwave, was...
