I have enviromental asthma and am concerned about any type of a musty smell. I noted only one visitor mentioned this, so maybe they were a bit hyper-sensitve on this point? I love the looks of this place, but I've had an experience with a musty B&B & it was not good. Just trying to choose wisely...

Thanks for your question, it's a good one. The house is now 127 years old. I will be very honest, knowing how you may suffer physically at times. In the summer, yes, it may smell when we have had a lot of rain. It's not bad as we have added central A/C.But as you know old stuff can emit odor. I don't use smelly air fresheners, either. I just try to clean regularly and let the house be what it is.
I hope this helps with your decision, and maybe I'll see you soon!!
