I took a spontaneous solo trip to Death Valley last Friday with less than 24 hours notice and decided I would find a place to stay when I got there. I found out when I flew into Vegas that I'm not the only one that...More
Very friendly staff, simple room, noisy A/C but an excellent bed and window in the ceiling in the shower. A must to take the tour of the Opera House.
Excellent location between Death Valley and Las Vegas.
"Desert culture" - recommended!
Make sure this is a good fit for you, before booking. If you book and get there just a little bit past cancellation time and decide it is not a good fit, don't expect a refund...not even for the following nights, if you booked more...More

There is staff on hand and I see that there are reviews for paranormal tours. I was unaware of any while we were staying there and only learned later of the paranormal stuff. The place is awesome and you might be able to organize something with the staff. We had a tour of the opera house, kind of by sheer accident, while we were waiting to check in. The hostess just happened to be coming out from giving someone else a tour. They are short staffed, so I suggest calling and trying to arrange something prior to arrival.
