1 night on our way from Death Valley up through Yosemite to Lake Tahoe. Initially given room ten which was small and a bit rough and ready but ok for 1 night. The only issue was we couldn't get the heater to work and it was very cold having just snowed the morning we arrived (1 November). After a dip... More

We decided to book one night at Cinnamon Bear Inn, on our way to Yosemite NP, because the reviews were, overall, good. The owners were very friendly and the complementary wine and cheese at 5 pm were a nice gesture! But the room we had.... We had room number 10, at the second floor. It was very small, I mean... This little hotel tucked away off the main street is a wonderful little gem. From the minute you walk in to the log burning fire in the reception area, you are made to feel at home. Together with the outdoor jacuzzi, four poster bed, forest view from the bedroom and delicious berry pancakes for breakfast, this hotel is a winner.... More

Had a lovely stay at the Cinnamon Bear Inn as part of our road trip around California. The room was clean and spacious with a four-poster bed. The inn is very centrally located just a 2 minute drive from the lift in the centre of the resort in one direction, while the shops, visitor centre and supermarket are 2 minute... More

We stayed at the Cinnamon Bear Inn for 1 night as part of a 15 road trip in the US and we enjoyed our stay. We arrived after the main office had closed but this wasn't a problem as they left our key and instructions in an envelope outside the main lobby. Good points are that the bed was comfortable,... Cute little bed and breakfast just off the main road. Has a very family-run feel to it. Wonderful hot breakfasts are included in the price, as was an early evening wine and cheese hour in the dining area. Extremely friendly staff and a nice quiet location.

We checked in late due to long drive from Las Vegas. I called ahead and was told the room key would be in a envelope outside the main door, which it was. Easy. Room was on top level, bigger than I thought, better than I thought based on other reviews. Bathroom adequate. We only stayed one night but it was... More

Small hotel in a fairly central location in Mammoth Lakes. Room was fine but bed was a bit soft. No AC but not needed in late sept. Happy hour with wine and cheese was fine. Breakfast was less than adequate - home cooked without a buffet choice is fine if you like what they prepare, but I'd rather have a... More

Just completed a 3 week road trip of CA and this room was the only that was a real let-down. The smell in the room was far from cinnamon, much more of a bear. The sense of smell usually adapts but not to this degree, could not wait to get out of there. Room was barely larger than the bed,... More
