I stayed here while on a snowboarding trip. My friend and I shared a room with a full-sized bed and folding bed (stored conveniently in the closet). The room was nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. The only quirk was the pot-bellied heating stove...More
Whilst on a road trip we reached mammoth lake looking for somewhere to stay over night,
We definitely could not have made a better choice and was meant to be .

We stayed for one night en route to Yosemite. We made it in time for the complementary cheese and wine happy hour but were asked to make a 'contribution' for it which denigrated the gesture. The room itself was comfortable but very hot - there...More

Thanks for your review. I'm shocked by your comment about making a contribution. Our happy hour is free to all of our guests. Many times in the past, our guests have brought in assorted goodies and have shared them with others while enjoying our wine...More
I booked an economy room, so the review is for that. For the price I paid (below 100 all included), it was a good value as Mammoth Lake lodging prices seem to be on the higher side with some hotels adding resort fee.

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
