We stayed at Cinnamon Bear Inn for one night in September 2011. The people who run the place were friendly enough. We stayed in room 1. It is a very dated place which is ok i guess. We were just passing through and it seved...More
We've stayed at Cinnamon Bear Inn quite a few times when skiing at Mammoth Mt. , and (as always), we enjoyed our recent stay at CB two weeks ago. The rooms are small, but comfortable, clean, and quaint. The parking is somewhat tight, but we...More
The pricing here was great for the area. We were upgraded to a suite, which had a living room, dining area, kitchen, and bedroom. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was strong, and our breakfast was so good! The guy who runs the place...More
We stayed here for one night before travelling the Tioga Pass into Yosemite. Mammoth is a nice place. Friendly people.

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
