This was our second stay at the Westin in Mammoth. We stayed here last year and loved it..no complaints. This trip was very different. The positives were our room location was perfect. Beautiful view on the best floor. We love the champagne in the lobby and our kids look forward to hot chocolate in the afternoon. It is extremely convenient...

Stayed at the property for a ski trip. Room was fine. However upon returning one day, an expensive pair of swim trunks left hanging to dry was taken by housekeeping, mistakenly or not, the hotel was absolutely terrible in handling the situation. Worst customer service I've ever experienced by a hotel. Multiple calls/emails for 3 weeks now have yet to...

In general, it's a nice hotel. Just be careful about room location. We rented a one bedroom suite, which I would expect ($600 a night) to have a decent view (maybe a parking lot or something similar). Unfortunately, our windows looked right into a wall. Really, no view out to life at all. So, when you book, make sure to...

The place is located next to the village, right across the gondola which takes you to the base of the mountain, so it's not a ski in/ ski out resort. However the location is perfect if you want to be next to the restaurants and still want a convenient way to the mountain for skiers and snowboarders. The only caveat...

Staff helpful in a biz crunch. Cynthia and Gina at front desk stepped up and "no problem" faxed my docs. Elevator to street awkward then series of stairs to get to gondola. Don't take window rooms over entry if you want to sleep. Shuttle congregates there. Lots of diverse clients. Ski crowd at Mammoth serious partiers. Kind of depressing all...

We winter in Mammoth and love to go to the White Bark Restaurant at the Westin. We're also Starwood gold members and loyal to the brand. White Bark is one of the prettiest dining rooms in Mammoth, and it's fun with a lively crowd at the bar. There is a bar menu and a fine dining menu. We like the...

The location is great except for the 75 steps from Mammoth village to the hotel after a long day of skiing. This is what you would expect from a westin comfortable and friendly with underground parking to keep your car warm. I will stay here again, one comment next time you advertise a wine and cheese reception for Starwood members...

We visited the restaurant a few years ago and was not impressed with the menu. We decided to give it another try and very much enjoyed an improved and varied menu. Food for delicious and service lovely.

Great location. Easy access to Canyon Lodge via free Village Gondola. You can rent your gear in the village, jump on the gondola and then go on the lift. The Westin is right across from the village where you can dine and shop (There is even a Starbucks and general store in the village.) The hotel accepts pets and there...

My daughter and I are currently staying here, and it is wonderful (aside from the horrible weather)! The location across the street from the village and gondola is convenient. The rooms are nice sized with mini kitchen. We have a beautiful view when the clouds move out. Beds are standard Westin Heavenly beds, which are very comfortable. Bathroom is fine,...
