Hotel true to what one would expect from SPG property, nice hotel, great amenities and conveniently located to little shopping area and several restaurants. Very friendly and professional staff, ready to provide great service Not expensive considering quality of the hotel plus they are suites so includes well equipped kitchen so a family can save money by not eating out....

Mammoth is our much slower, more peaceful version of Tahoe. Westin is perfectly located to walk to shopping & restaurants. White Bark is also good (esp breakfast). Upper floors offer scenic views. Kitchen is nice for breakfast & to cook dinner (fully equipped).

So, first off, beautiful property with a sensational restaurant and good proximate location to the skiing (or rather, to the gondola which gets you to the skiing). My main issue with the hotel is that the gondola closed the day after we got there (first week in April) and our alternative was to be carted all the way to Main...

Thank you for the review and the feedback. I total agree. The gondola from the village to Canyon closes the first part of April. Every year before this year we directed guests to the town bus service to main lodge. We were very slow the first part of April and our luggage team had time so we decided to help...

We spent one night here to break the journey between Death Valley and Yosemite. We were in a junior suite which was lovely, complete with a fire, sofa and also a small kitchen area which was well appointed. We arrived late evening, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We went straight to the restuarant for an evening meal, the...

We stayed just for a couple of nights. This SPG property is pet friendly. Loved the location and its pet friendliness! She was given a heavenly dog bed right away and also a water bowl. We have our own beds and they are super comfortable as expected! Staff is very friendly. Most restaurants in hotel were closed which were a...

Thank you for choosing the Westin Monache! I am happy to read you enjoyed your time at the property and in town. Lunch during the off-season can be a little tricky. For most of the town's existence it was a 6 month year, summer and fall were closed. Thankfully now we have a very busy summer season with many musical...

We stayed here in early June for 2 nights and found the property to be nice. We stayed in a deluxe suite and although on the small side, it had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchenette. The rooms were pretty clean although we did find candy under the cushion of the window seat. Beds were comfortable as they...

Great hotel - our room was an apartment with hob, fridge and microwave. Very clean room and had good view. Close to town for restaurants. Bar food was good quality but small choice and menu was a bit pretentious. In case you are thinking of using this property to go to Yosemite it's a good 50 mins drive to the...

Thank you for your review. Great advice to visit Yosemite, it is a wonderful National Park! 35 Miles to the gate or 102 miles to the valley. We actually just changed our Executive Chef and we will have a new menu after the summer season. We look forward to seeing you again the next time you are in mammoth Lakes....

A short overnight stay en route to Yosemite as part of a massive road trip. I was concerned that a highly pet friendly hotel might mean that our much needed sleep or naps would be disturbed. Not a problem, I never heard a sound. Very comfortable room, excellent shower and bathroom, easily navigable hotel. Nice gas fireplace. Good restaurant, superb...

We just recently stayed again at the Monache. As anyone who knows Mammoth knows the season had the worst snow in many years. The was a late season storm and so we decided to go.
