I was very disappointed that this lounge does not offer anything further than super basic food, not even much to add on the watery oatmeal. We stayed in room 2218 which had a decent view. Room was very outdated but quiet. It's wedding season, therefore busy and loud at the lobby/bar area where we enjoyed costly Bailey and desert, both...

This place has some serious issues. I checked in for one day. I parked my car via valet. Went up the room with no issues, and I took a nap. I then called down and asked that my car be brought up and I went down 10 minutes later only to find my car still not there. I had to...

The Marriot downtown is located by the convention center. It has many restaurants around it and valet parking. The room we had was very spacious, like a good size condo but I think this was only because we asked for king and this was the only room they had left. My husband and I called it the party room. It...

I have reservations for this weekend ( Memorial Day weekend) and just called to ask 2 questions. One about parking... the lady on the phone kept blowing into the phone and was VERY hard to even understand what she was staying. I explained that I would need my car to travel north of the City during the day and needed...

The hotel itself is a typical older Marriot with lots of marble, dark wood and brass, not the type of fresh looking hotels you see these days. However, all this "old stuff" is well maintained and functional. From the main entrance (with valet parking) you enter into a huge lobby with reception desk for at least 4-5 check-in stations. However,...

Loved the proximity of the hotel to the convention center. There was a walkway inside the hotel which would be great for cold winter days. Overall, this was a nice Marriott that met expectations. It has a concierge lounge, the bar is in the center of the lobby which makes a nice gathering space. In addition, there is a FedEx...

Stayed there on business this week. Room was nice, good common area, restaurant wasn't great, but not bad either. I'm a very picky business traveler, so a few nit picks: *Sleep function does not work on TV remote. * Room service covers old and worn - gives impression of lack of cleanliness * Housekeeping did not leave breakfast door hang...

Very large Hotel, right in center city. It's full of life and activity. The rooms are very nice and clean. The service is good and efficient. Easy to get a taxi from hotel. The valet parking is challenging, you might have to wait for over a half-hour to get car. Overall a great city hotel.

For an alumni reunion, I chose the Marriott for price and convenience. Had not been back to Philadelphia in 10 years, and the hotel is a great vantage point to explore central Philly and all the new restaurants, bars, and the older core of the city as well. As a convention hotel, it hums and is in motion all the...
