Another long line for check in. The meeting organizers failed to communicate with the hotel how payments would be remitted so check in was messy. Insufficient parking and awkward access to parking requires guests to take an elevator to lobby then change elevators to get to the parking deck. Probably good for safety, but not easy when there are long...

It had been a number of years since we last stayed at the Sheraton University City, but my dim memories were of a very pleasant experience marred only by the absence of a breakfast, made up poorly by a walk across the street to a less than adequate place. So I was willing to go back. I'm glad I did....

We got a club level double for a decent price. Next time I would probably spend a little more and stay elsewhere. The room was clean; however, we were not able to get a good nite sleep. It is tough to do a 7 hour drive on little sleep. The walls were so thin I was just waiting for the...

This hotel is a pretty low rent business hotel close to UPenn. Only stay here if someone else is paying and you are staying for a short time. Nothing about it is above average for the Sheration brand. It is old, cramped, musty, and uncomfortable. That said, it is in the middle of renovations. In 6-12 months it may have...

Chef Michael is so nice and awesome! He did three delicious omelets in a row for me with great patient and high technique. Thanks! The hotel is comfortable and convenient to go everywhere. Such a great experience!

We decided to book one of their rooms with access to the "Club Lounge" on the top floor for an extra $40 per night. The lounge was advertised as a relaxing upscale space that offers evening hors d'oeuvres and drinks, and continental breakfast in the morning. Definitely would not describe this as an upscale space - it is the size...

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at the Sheraton University City. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms comfortable, but the Sheraton's employees are what set it apart. I stay there consistently when I am in Philadelphia (which is often) and the people who work there are truly special. The front desk staff are consistently professional,...

Clean room. Amentities all in place. Great city view. We arrived after midnight, tired from a long cross country flight. Checkin was quick even though we didn't know our reservation number. Room was delightfully comfortable. Fell asleep quickly!

Checking in on a busy evening the desk staff were solicitous and efficient. However, even ignoring the lobby renovation, the place feels worn. My room was large, very clean, but with a small, older style bathroom. Even the desk's electronics setup was old (remember when they had VGA ports?), but with a USB charging hub near the bed. The hallway...

The lobby renovations themselves weren't so bad, but the lobby was a bit small with part closed off. We had loud raucous neighbors late at night and it took the hotel an hour to restore quiet. We did get an adjustment for that. The elevator situation was a disaster. Sometimes it took ten minutes to get up to our room....
