My favorite place to stay in Philadelphia. Great service. Great rooms (a little on the small side, but if you are making a short trip, you won't need more). Always a good time.

We enjoyed staying at the Alexander Inn, great location, nice neighbourhood, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and room. The location is perfect, very close to main avenues, but far enough to make it a quite place to rest, lots of coffee places and bars and restaurants nearby... breakfast was good, but I don´t know what´s with the ice cold boiled eggs!!!...anyway,...

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Alexander Inn. A quick and easy check in meant we were out on the sights in no time. It's in a terrific location well within walking distance of most of the city's attractions and a friendly greeting from all the staff made you feel welcome. Would stay there again and would have no...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alexander Inn. The check-in was easy and fast. We parked our car right across the street while we chcked in and then took our car to their discounted garage down the street - 3 blocks. We had a corner room - 201 that was ready for us at 10:30 in the morning. Yea! We...

My wife and I have stayed at various Philly hotels for weekend get-a-ways. This was our first stay at the Alexander Inn. We will be back. A friendly and helpful staff. A great neighborhood location (safely walk to good restaurants, bars, shopping, historical sites, quiet at night). Clean rooms (well decorated & insulated from street noise, some are small). Value-priced...

Even though I book standard room which is not big. However, they have every thing you need in the room and very well organized. Most importantly, staffs there are well trained and very friendly. Great choice of bath lotion as well.

My husband and I stayed at the Alexander Inn for three days. We were very happy with the location, easy walk to all the historical area's and we are in our late 50's. Plus it was a very hot day....well into the 90's! We stayed in a delux queen room and found it very comfortable and clean. I liked that...

I just got back from a three night stay at the Alex Inn. It was a delight. The staff is incredible. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful (loved the fresh grapefruit). It is conveniently located. The room rates are extremely affordable by Philadelphia standards. Our room, while small, was clean and cute. We had a room with a...

On my way back to Nyc after a short stay in Philly. The Alexander Inn was great. Close to a bit of shopping, and reataraunts, even Reading Terminal market (15 minutes) then on to the liberty bell (another 15) and a short taxi ride to Citizens bank park or to the 30th street train station. Room was clean and had...

This locally-owned boutique hotel is perfectly located in Central City. The rooms are small but comfortable, the staff friendly and there when you need them. Breakfast is excellent; it puts many chains to shame. Coffeemakers in the rooms would be nice but not a major factor. Parking is at a lot three blocks, away and at a reduced rate. Highly recommended....
