Stayed at this stately, well-situated B & B recently. The location was superb, the parlor and guest bedroom were both very clean, well-appointed and airy. However, the cook had quit a few days prior. As a result the weekend hot breakfast became a very mediocre continental breakfast with no commensurate reduction in price, even though I kidded the manager about...

This is one of the most memorable stay I had when I visited the USA. The interior of the house has a decor scheme that is reminiscent of the 1800's. The breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety to choose from. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again for our next visit in Philly.

I needed a couple of days away from New York City this winter and a quick trip to Philadelphia fit the bill. I found La Reserve on line. It is located on a quiet residential block in the center of the city, close walking distance to great bars, restaurants and other attractions (check out Eastern State Penitentiary while in town)....

I cannot recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast highly enough. Every detail exceeded my expectations. I booked a 2 week stay. I arrived late in the evening and directions to enter my suite were easy and allowed for a seamless arrival. The suite I stayed in was large, the kitchen fully equipped with a full refrigerator and stove, a gorgeous...

This is a small-scale, personalised B&B in the centre of Philadelphia. Rooms are individually decorated, breakfast is prepared on the spot and on a communal table and parking is a few blocks away. We enjoyed our short, one-night stay here. The B&B certainly has atmosphere. The shared bathroom (while clean) was a bit of a drawback, however.

We came for a two-night stay at this delightful B&B in downtown Philadelphia. The room (a suite actually) was lovely and the owner was very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate (including homemade goodies) when we came during the week for a last-minute jaunt down from NYC. The Philadelphia Museum of Art was wonderful, with an exhibit on Mexican Modernism...

La Reserve is a conveniently located B&B in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. The staff at the B&B is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The weekend breakfast offerings are phenomenal. Easy walk to the nearby park, local supermarket and Starbucks. We stayed in the Rittenhouse Executive Suite, a first floor apartment that offers a full-kitchen, living area and an en suite bathroom....

This was a lovely experience in a historic townhouse. We had the Rittenhouse apartment for five days while we were attending a conference at the Marriott, about a mile away. It was spacious, attractively and comfortably furnished, and had a full kitchen. We chose to make our own breakfast because of the demands of our own schedule, but tea, coffee,...

Spent a long weekend a La Reserve. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful bed and breakfast. La Reserve was very clean and nicely located in the city center. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The breakfasts are incredible. Hats off to the Chef!!! The staff are very friendly. I can't wait to stay here again. Loved it...
