We stayed at this hotel for one night when visiting the city on our way back to JFK airport. It's a quaint hotel near the Temple University and it felt as though it mainly catered for relatives visiting students at the University. We arrrived on a Sunday and to begin with the place was very tricky to find. Eventually we...

Clean and comfortable. Really inexpensive, compared to center city hotels. Great service, great location, close to just about everything. Convenient for a guy who likes public transit more than cars. Pass on the "continental breakfast". I am not sure what continent those bagels came from, but they were stale enough to make me wonder if they were on a ship...

Stayed at Conwell Inn in April 2012 for 3 nights while attending a conference at the Temple student center. I stayed in the queen suite. The room furnishings were excellent and the bed was comfortable. Due to the style of the building, the room had some odd dimensions that were not as convenient as a mainstream hotel. But, that is...

I enjoyed another weekend stay at the Conwell Inn which is nicely located in the center of the Tmple University main campus. The rooms are very nicely sized, well appointed and it is a well maintained property. There was a problem which arose and the desk staff made an adjustment that was satisfactory and I was inpressed that the GM...

A true gem in the city. Far exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. We were visiting the campus for Experience Temple day and decided to stay here as opposed to our usual stay at the Marriott. We were greeted with the delicious homemade cookies, and checked in with Gillian. She was very knowledgeable about the university and...

Location location location! That alone gave it 4 stars. We spent 3 days at the Liacouras Center which was about 2 blocks, that you don't even notice, from the Inn. The Inn is well maintained and very clean. Good bed, drapes and plumbing. Excellent staff!!! Don't fret on the mini breakfast offerings. The food trucks and places in a tiny...

The room was small and quite noisy and the clean service was not good and one day the room had not been cleaned at all without any reasons. Hopefully the staff agreed to reimburse a part of the price for this inconvenience.

Our son is a patient at Shriner's Childrens Hospital which is a short distance from Temple University and this was our third opportunity to stay at the Conwell Inn. It truly is a gem hidden in the backdrop of the campus. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of space for three adults (we take grandmother...

I stayed at the Conwell Inn several months ago and was so pleased with the professionalism of the staff. Most of the employees were students and were so eager to help me with getting around city center. The hotel is so quaint and located right on the campus of the university so it is always bustling with people, which I...

Thanks Shimmer! Professionalism and consistency are THE goals for myself and my staff. While we love being able to surround our guests with the charm and familiarity of a Bed & Breakfast, we aim to offer everything you'd expect from a bigger hotel or chain as well! I will be sure to pass your words onto Katelyn - a truly...
