Great situation, just off Walnut Street and Washington Square, ideal for visiting Liberty Bell and surrounding attractions. An easy walk, with luggage, from the Greyhound Station and an inexpensive taxi ride from 30th St Station. Our (first floor double) room was cosy, clean and comfortable. It seemed very quiet, considering the proximity to busy streets. It was quite cool weather...

Had a great time in Philly with my mom. Room was gorgeous but disappointed in the breakfast. We thought we were getting a bed and breakfast. Instead we got a basic hotel continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and inviting. Also didnt realize we would have to pay for parking

We were on a short, sharp stay and were advised to choose the Morris House Hotel. It was expensive for what we needed but then that seemed to be the going rate for all similar hotels. The welcome was pleasant, the room was nice and big and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a continental style. The best part was...

This is a beautiful place to stay. The staff are friendly and ready to chat abs help with your stay in Philadelphia. We were very happy with everything although the need was a little to soft and lumpy.

My husband and I went back and forth between a 3 and 4 rating, ultimately he won with the 3 with the argument that the most important thing about a hotel stay is a good night sleep. We were in Room 501 which was larger than expected and very clean. The house while lovely and historic was a bit less...

A small problem with our shower became a major plumbing issue and their solution was to upgrade us to the Presidential Suite. I wouldn't recommend you book this hotel hoping for a plumbing problem, but even if we hadn't been treated so unbelievably fair, we'd have enjoyed our stay and recommended this hotel. It's within 8 blocks of every major...

Beautiful and well preserved hotel from the late 1700's. This hotel only has about 15 rooms but the coziness of the property cannot be matched. They offer a nice continental breakfast with your stay and a glass of wine at 4pm. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. There is no reason to stay anywhere else in downtown Philly then right...

Stayed there 3 nights while attending convention. American Revolution history is my thing so I found Morris House very interesting. It is extremely close to Independence Hall and was built the same year the US Constitution was signed which is pretty cool for the history buff. Something like 2000 Revolutionary War dead are buried in nearby Washington Square. The facilities...
