We stayed at A Sentimental Journey B&B for one night and booked the family suite. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities of a hotel. They offer a variety of items in their kitchen such as snacks, cereal, juices, coffee, water, bagels and fruit. Barbara and her husband are wonderful...very nice, friendly and welcoming. They are in a...

My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to stay the night in Gettysburg so we stopped by this bed and breakfast to see what prices were. We stopped in and Steve gave us the weekday rate since it was so last minute. Super nice of him! Our room was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely recommend A sentimental journey...

I HIGHLY recommend this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Beautiful Dreamer room. We loved the first floor room which allowed us a private entrance and a kitchen. The location allowed us to walk to downtown, the cemetery , the Jenny Wade house, and restaurants. The inn is very clean, homey and the hosts are very hospitable .

We had a great stay! The B&B is very nice and well kept. The WWII era decorations are a fun step back in time. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and the food and snacks are available 24/7. It is also within walking distance to pretty much everything. We loved it and have already...

This is my second time here with my sisters and friends, we pretty much take up the 2nd floor. Most of us grew up in the 50's so the 40's décor made us feel right at home, especially the kitchen, the gathering place. which is stocked with goodies galore that you can have any time of day. Barbara and her...

My mother and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Gettysburg. The location is perfect, it is on Baltimore St, which is the major street through town with the most things to look at, the most history, where Lincoln traveled on his way to dedicate the cemetery (after staying the night at the Wills House, which you can tour)....

The room was spacious and had all the amenities you would expect. Lots of towels in the bathroom. We loved all the pictures throughout the house and the fun old telephone in our room. Had a little trouble with one of the lamps, but got it to work with perseverance. Would have given this 5 stars, but was not enamored...

First time staying in a B&B and it was a wonderful experience! Owners treated us like family; rooms are decorated like the 20's and 30's and ice cream in the shop downstairs is all made on site. Even with the temperature in the 90's we were able to walk to the Square Saturday morning and enjoy the Farmer's Market...

It was ok but: there was bubble wrap on the windows inside! The kitchen sink was dirty with a black film, no wash cloths for kitchen. The bathroom was large, nice area except: a claw foot tub with a cheap shower curtain strung on a circular rod around the tub. You had to go upstairs for the FREE breakfast which...

We recently took a vacation to Gettysberg and stayed here. It was a lovely and fun place to stay right in town. Our room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The Inn has a very cute kitchen with snacks and breakfast fare for guests. We enjoyed meeting some of the other guests over our morning coffee. We recommend trying the...
