Our stay was very relaxing even if we could hear all the traffic on the busy road. The room itself was pretty well appointed, even if the microwave (as promised in the description) was stored in the bathroom closet. The back sitting room was nice for my husband who wanted to watch TV, while I sat in the front room... More

We spent one night in the Overlook 1 Suite. We were surprised with the good quality and value, considering this is a tourist town. The bed was comfortable, the linens were nice, good towels, everything clean as a whistle. No problems there. The walls are thin as this is an old house and you CAN hear your neighbors. The breakfast... More

My family and I stayed in the Meade Suite of the Gettystown Inn. We had a wonderful time! The inn had a kitchenette and shared a parking lot with the Dobbin House Tavern. It was a wonderful colonial tavern where we ate breakfast in a wonderful colonial setting. It was a relaxing and wonderful getaway.

I had done alot of research on the Dobbin House and my husband, son and I decided on Aunt Holly's Room. It was 2 stories with a fold out sofa downstairs and a queen and bath upstairs. While we enjoyed the old and quaint rooms, the sofabed our son slept in was not at all good. My recommendation would be... More

One night stay in the Reynolds Room. Rooms were clean and had such a great "step back in time" feel from the furnishings. Bed was comfy although I really prefer a king over a queen anyday! Little TV with lots of channels (more than the Hyatt we stayed in a few nights prior). Small fridge, AC and a neat little... More

My husband and I stayed in the Meade room for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. The room was comfortable and a nice size. There was a bed/sitting room, and a door separating it from the kitchen area and the bathroom. The kitchen area had a mini fridge and microwave, but also surprisingly had silverware and dinnerware. I loved the... More

I had the opportunity to stay here for four nights recently and found it to be a very pleasant stay. The rooms are a bit small and maybe not as nice as some of the other B and B's in the area but the prices were in line with the service and quality. One big plus is parking is assigned... More

What can I say that I didn't already say about this wonderful place? This was our second time staying here in the summer, and once again the place was perfect. How great is this place? Well, let me just say that right when we got home we made another reservation to stay for new years eve. I really can't understand... More

Our stay in the Steinwehr room was a wonderful experience. There was ample parking, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was very charming and the check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. Staff were very helpful! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only problem we had at all was that the blinds on the window in the... More

We stayed in the Lee Suite. We had found the web site confusing to navigate and likewise on arrival found it really hard to work out where to check in (the shop). We had plenty space in our suite and good facilities along with nice nibbles to keep us going. The bed was comfortable and we had access to a... More
