Our stay in the Steinwehr room was a wonderful experience. There was ample parking, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was very charming and the check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. Staff were very helpful! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only problem we had at all was that the blinds on the window in the...

We stayed in the Lee Suite. We had found the web site confusing to navigate and likewise on arrival found it really hard to work out where to check in (the shop). We had plenty space in our suite and good facilities along with nice nibbles to keep us going. The bed was comfortable and we had access to a...

We stayed in the Overlook 1 suite for a little over a week. Our stay was a pleasure! The suite was just perfect for our party of 3. It was clean and so very comfortable. The breakfasts were so good. The best part of our stay, however, was Jenny. She served us our delicious breakfasts in the Dobbin House...each day...

We spent 2 nights of our Gettysburg trip in the "Lincoln Suite" at the Gettystown B&B at Dobbin House. The suite was an entire first floor, with a giant main bedroom, a "living area" that had a pull-out bed, a full kitchen/dining area. It was walking distance to everything in Gettysburg and was situated at the end of the busy...

The owners of Dobbins house have done a great job at keeping true to the history of the restaurant, tavern and B&B but keeping up with updates. This is the oldest building still standing in Gettysburg but was probably the cleanest & best kept. Our stay was wonderful

My girlfriends and I recently took a trip to Gettysburg and stayed 2 nights in the Lee Suite (Leister House) of the Gettystown Inn. The staff is extremely nice and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were superb, and the server we had both mornings was exceptionally nice. Our room was clean...

My girlfriend and I have stayed at the Gettystown Inn twice now, and have reservations for our third time. It is probably one of the most fun and relaxing places you can have the pleasure of staying at. We always book the Reynolds room, and love the beautiful atmosphere. Even though its on a main street, it is quiet and...

Their parking situation is atrocious. It ruined our trip. Their solution was to cover the handicapped parking spot with a paper bag to allow by 8.5 month pregnant sister to get within a few blocks of her room. I hope that no disabled person came after they did this. They are overpriced, care more about their restaurant (which is cramped...

We spent one night at the Gettystown Inn Bed and Breakfast, next to the Dobbin House Tavern. We stayed in the Steinwehr room in the Leister House. The bed and breakfast includes a few different houses and rooms in each house. Each room is different (the Steinwehr has a larger bathroom) so chose a room based on your needs. We...

My family and I visited Gettysburg to learn about it's history. I love to stay at older historic inns but that's not always easy with young kids as many of the B&B's either flat out don't allow children or even if they do they're not really appropriate for children. I chose the Dobbin house/Gettystown inn because they were one of...
