We just spent a week here. Overall, we had a great experience. Staff was friendly, the grounds were nice. Complaints- the grounds seem to be quite poorly drained. Our site was fine, but there were many sites and the dump station road that were completely flooded. Wifi really didn't do much. The sites are very small and crowded. We have...

My husband and I spent three nights here so we could explore the Gettysburg Battlegrounds. The site that we had, Site # 66, was very level. The property sits on the Marsh Creek and is very well laid-out, quite large (260 sites) and offers both shady and sunny RV sites (pull through and back-in), full hook-ups (water, sewer and 50...

Our family of 4 with a 30 foot camper stayed here in July 2015, Saturday through Wednesday. Here is why I gave it an excellent rating: STAFF: When I called to make reservations, the gentleman who answered made sure to make me aware that when we planned on coming, it was Bike Week in Gettysburg. He was willing to lose...

We visit Gettysburg twice a year, for Gettysburg Bike Week in July and Apple Fest in October. We have been staying here for the last 6 years. We have tried other campground in Gettysburg, but this one is defiantly the nicest! The Staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and the bath houses are clean! We love...

We met our family at Gettysburg Campground for a peaceful 3 days near the Battlefield. The staff was very friendly and ensured we had adjacent campsites, which worked out perfectly. The campground was clean and quiet, even during a busy weekend.

We only had one night to spend in Gettysburg. We selected Gettysburg Campground based on Trip Adviser reviews. The campground wasn't busy. We were before the season! It was very near to town and activities. The staff was friendly and helpful. And it was great watching the workers getting ready for the season - lots of maintenance. It was quiet....

This is a great campground. The owners and employees are extremely nice and alot of fun. The campground has great activities for all ages, including adults. Sites are level. They have a paved road coming into the campground, but all of the sites are gravel but are well maintained. It is within minutes of the Battlefield and the center of...

We stayed 4 nights here this past summer. There are lots of shady wooded sites. Stayed cool even in the summer. Close to Gettysburg and all of the attractions. Seemed like everything was within a few miles. Great for kids.

We stayed the end of October, 2014. We were impressed with the campground facilities and services, as well as the efficient and welcoming office staff. Bathrooms clean and water in the showers were hot. The highlight of the stay, however, for us empty nesters, was seeing families come in for the Halloween Weekend. The park is VERY family orientated. Reasonably...

What a fun pre-Halloween weekend! It was absolutely packed with things to do, most of it focusing on Saturday day and evening: coloring contest (due at 11am, random winners announced every hour over the loud speaker), pumpkin carving contest (due 1pm, different age brackets, prizes for the winners!), costume parade (by various age groups, pets, and a "group" group, at...
